-12C Winter Storm Camping & Outdoors Cooking (The next day was surreal !)

Winter camping and snow camping in a winter storm with our Land Rover Defender camper, going offroad in snow is challenging and amazing. It was very cold and I was clearly shaking while cooking outdoors.
Our fully equipped 4x4 allows us to go out in nature and offgrid. A DIY camper build that we are now testing through overland adventures and offroad adventures before enjoying a one-year family road trip, living in our Land Rover Defender camper.
Fondue à la tomate recipe for 4 ( www.swissmilk.... ) :
600 - 800 g of boiled potatoes
1-2 peeled garlic clove, cut in small pieces
400 g diced tomatoes or crushed tomatoes
2.5 dl of white wine (Fendant)
4 level teaspoons of cornstarch
500 g of grated cheese Raclette du Valais AOP
300 g of grated cheese Gruyère AOP
freshly ground pepper

When the lock is frozen, in Maine we heat the key in a flame, not with hot tea.

That's is an amazing video in winter camping. Looks so much fun even though it was very cold. Your defender is very well equipped to handle this situation. And you can sleep 4 inside which is just brilliant. Love it ☺️

Didn't fill them up as we didn't yet installed and tried out an out of freeze solution

great video! do you prefere ATs or proper winter tires in these deep snow/cold winter conditions?

We were quite surprised with the ATs and with our heavy weight, we do feel larger tires are better in snow. With only 1 winter weekend kind of difficult to say what's best. also cold weather isn't hitting very hard at the moment so need to experience more on regular icy or mushy snow roads.

(hi good morning congratulations for the video it's really beautiful what beautiful places there are in Russia you satisfy my curiosity in Russia when it snows in winter with Siberian temperatures from -25 to -16 and even -35 degrees what is the grade and viscosity of the motor oil used for your SUVs , do you use mud off-road tires for mud on snow or do you use thermal road winter tires or snow chains? ) I'm on my petrol Suzuki Jimny 4x4 with a petrol engine m13a 1.3 LT, petrol from 2001. I use liqui moly mos2 brand 10w40 motor oil with molybdenum disulfide and I even added anti wear additive from liqui moly the ceratec and like all Terrain tires and Terrain mud tires the standard size is 205-70-15 and then I use additives to gasoline that is used to clean the fuel line! Thanks! We use 5w40 motor oil. First time having all terrain tires on for winter, they are 285 75 r16 (same size as our muds). We now have chains in case it’s needed. We also use additive when long distance driving👍🏼 we had a lot of fun during this first snow outing, looking forward to the next ones 🙂 happy holidays too!
