Taking a hot shower outdoors when winter camping is delightful, especially with the brand new ARB ensuite room and our diy hot water system in our offroad camper.
Our fully equipped 4x4 allows us to go out in nature and offgrid. A DIY camper build that we are now testing through overland adventures and offroad adventures before enjoying a one-year family road trip, living in our Land Rover Defender camper.

Thanks for sharing, man! And I feel you on the suffering part, lol. Water and cold air don't mix well at all. I never really thought about getting a shower ensuite until one day my wife and I went to the beach with our 6-month-old, and all the changing rooms were closed. That also meant she couldn't pump in private for our little one. So after doing a lot of research, I bought an ensuite to make things easier for my wife and to have a changing room. It's been perfect for us. Unfortunately, I didn't have to drill any holes in my Wrangler, but I totally get why your husband was feeling the pain when he had to. Have you figured out what the pause in the water was from? That gave me goosebumps and a chill tell I saw the steam! Also is there a drain on the floor?

There's an integrated drain, yes. Water technical issue is that forgot to "close" the second tank. It was empty and pump was pumping in both tanks so didn't work properly.

you should get a bathrobe with a hoodie. it's a game changer. decathlon sell some very compact cotton bathrobes with hoods, they have them in many sizes and they fold to a pretty small net\bag which they come with. I have a hot shower on my 1998 Discovery with an ensuite and I take showers even when it's below 5C outside 🥶

Water is heated via the engine preheater heater. There’s a complete video on the install :)

Have you thought about a pipe from your diesel heater to pump warm air in? The water might be hot, but still looked bloody freezing! 😂

Nice set up another quality piece of kit from ARB, just need somewhere to mount the shower then it would be perfect. What was the issue with hot water supply? Or were you trying to use it as a sauna going from hot to cold to hot and cold 🔥 🥶

A good product indeed 👍 sauna could be nice ;) forgot to close the empty tank from the system so pump couldn't work properly because sucking air at the same time.

Don't know, had to use all the water because we couldn't leave it in the tank so wasn't really cautious on that side this time

That's a good setup! In Japan, there are many hot spring facilities that you can easily go to after camping or hiking, even deep in the mountains, so they are very convenient. I want to use the ARB shower booth after swimming or surfing.

Outdoors onsen are great in Japan, enjoyed a lot the mountains ones during our summer road trip. This ARB new product will certainly be a must when living on the road next year 👍

I too installed a shower tent system. It's very convenient when going to campsite which does not have a good shower or sometimes you just want to have a private shower. I am just using boiled water at the moment. But looking at your setup is really tempting. Perhaps add a shower holder, which I did. That makes showering more enjoyable without holding the shower head. Thanks for sharing. Love your videos always:)

Extremely happy with everything my husband has done and adding this shower room makes it almost like at home :) there are two places to fix the shower head, on sidewall + on roof in the middle 👍

Isn’t it a pain you always need one hand to hold the shower head? Better make a kind of a fixture so you can put the shower head in/on and have both hands free??!!
