@@KiloWattRC 34 39. The funny thing is I did it twice!. 2 max4 and two 1100kv and two single smc! That's why I asked about the 1700kv rotor wrapped in metal

@@QZillasWorld that is way too much gearing for the speeds you were reaching. You were holding the motor back, which will only overheat the motor. 47 spur 30 pinion is a good area to run 1100kv on 12s.

@@KiloWattRC It was geared too low? I didn't think that would overheat stuff, I thought it would help it run cooler. So gotta find the sweet spot I assume?
