From an Fellow Jackboot wearer i can tell they also get soggy in winter reason the German army had Felt or Filt Boots for winter which were extra stuffed and i recommend to spray paint the bolt black also to stop the shining

@@Der_Sturmpionier ok maybe but it would probably jam the bolt because it’s not supposed to be spray paint and the paint would probably just come off either way

@@Mr.WW2105 I basically have everything besides a actual uniform lol, I made my Swedish uniform look kinda like a German tunic, and basic wool pants, the smock covers that up tho lol, I just recently got a Zeltbahn but it’s post war swamp camo, but I got it more for camping, I’ll have to find a ss pattern next time, need a couple for a lean to
