Electro-Warmth is still very alive and well. I have a 15-year old one, at 120VAC for a queen size bed. It has been fantastic in not only for warming up the bed for entry but also for keeping one toasty warm.

Electric blanket is the best bit of winter gear. In the past iv used the 12v electric blankets in the truck but it wasn’t temperature controlled. It was way to hot for me. Now when camping I use a 100w max 240v temp & timer controller electric blanket via a 300w inverter. Works a treat off the lithium battery. It’s an Aldi $35 electric throw rug.

Like you We used a 240v electric blanket with a inverter for while and it cost about the same to set up (blanket plus cheep small inveter) as the electro warmth blanket. But temp control I found is better on the electro warmth so it uses less power. It’s hard to justify $200 for it since you can use the 240v blanket at home when not using the van and a inverter all ways comes in handy Thanks for watching my vid and sharing your thoughts Phil

They made a big lie.. so silly.. so expensive cause they saying made in USA so they put up the price.. Its made in china so should be less.. in australia it goes for $375 which is a joke..

You are right they are now made in china, mine is a old one and yes they all re not worth their price but they work better than any of the other cheap Chinese ones, eBay has them for $250 AUD out of the USA, I got a kickass one which has 3 temp settings but only runs for 45mins before switching off which sucks. The thermostat on the electro warmth is the best one I have used.
