I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.

We were traveling along the I-40 in Kingman Arizona and it was getting dark and we were tired, so we thought we would get a hotel room for the night. "New york has the best benefit package in the area" is extremely infuriating being a rural new yorker, whose boyfriend got let go from his job, and then applied for unemployment over a month ago and still hasnt heard anything. He has called 46 times (he counted) and only got an answer once. Normally, he just gets a ring, a robot voice saying they're busy, and then the phone hangs up. He's back to work now, and things are fine, but the fact that these resources are meant for temporary assistance in between jobs, and its being superceded by illegal immigrants who are overloading our systems is disgusting.

Canada, the first 2 things you need to do is to dump your constitutional monarchy and replace it with a constitutional republic. Oh, it was absolutely disgusting seeing people who were paying for rooms in hotels (especially Vets) without issues. Only to have the managers (it’s happened in so many Hotels) knock & enter one day, telling people who are US🇺🇸citizens they’ve got to leave ASAP! Absolutely disgusting!! Whilst these Illegal people are absolutely trashing hotels, smoking inside, spilling alcohol, moldy food found under the bed, toilets being clogged by things that only an idiot would flush, etc. Oh and I can’t forget about the poor maids who many worked via Hotels in NYC for yrs. (some decades) without issues, when normal tourists would visit NYC. However now they’ve got PTSD from being SA via pos unvetted pred.! Oh I can’t. And the 1000’s of stalking cases, SA’s, & so many lives taken in many states. It’s absolutely horrific. 100% Preventable. That’s what happens when you don’t do things correctly. So many of these illegals were deported back a few yrs ago.😡 Like the fatal crashes. They had 3-4 DUI’s in their countries. And other records. But they came back when O’biden & the DS let this epidemic happen. Everything is backwards. Does not make sense. I saw the ticker (list ) via tv on how many victims they could fit into a segment. Most people are low information, one issue, partisan party voters. But this goes both ways. You talk to most Dems or Repubs in NYC, they’ll blame the migrant crisis on Biden/Harris and Eric Adams. The NYC City Council is most responsible, yet being held least culpable. Adams said he hasn’t had luck getting them to modify the Right to Shelter and Sanctuary City laws. The NY City Council is predominantly Dem and over 50% Hispanic. As a fellow Democrat, Adams isn’t going to air them out by name. It may take a Republican mayor to put these City Council leaders on the Jumbotron and wake up their constituents. I think there’s a reason why civics isn’t really thought in middle schools in Dem or Repub cities anymore. It’s easy to control a citizenry, who doesn’t understand how politics work and just play on emotion, biases and distortions.
