I loved going up in a hot air balloon, it was so peaceful, you travel with the wind, and so it is quiet and calm up there. One of the best things I have ever done.

Amazing progress with this - I've done about 2/3 of section D. The deer came together surprisingly easily. I was dreading the fur thing. I'm also storing under the bed LOL. As to the flying thing - there's nowhere I need to see badly enough to let them shoot me at it at 700 miles an hour in a can. (Frankie Boyle said that and I agree with him totally - there were another couple of words in there that I won't add here LOL). Hot air balloon or helicopter - no thanks. I have made the plane trip to and from the UK/Australia several times and I've never been able to sleep or totally relax. I have already sorted this section and will do it next. Love your videos - hope you feel better soon.

I was also surprised by the deer not being too tricky - I do think the variety of prong shapes really helps with this puzzle. And thank you, I am feeling a lot better.

I've sort of been in a hot air balloon. In Disney Springs (Orlando, FL), they have a tethered one that just goes straight up and down. It was a lot of fun and I'd do it again! Not sure how a free floating balloon would be though... Just grabbed a Piece Relax puzzle-Amazon was having a sale. It was the one with the lady walking her dog, one that you have done, I think. Like it though I do think the pieces are a bit small and slippery. The pieces are a bit hard to hold onto when trying to place them because of that. Overall, I do like how they fit together though. Very satisfying click! Thank for sharing! Another pretty section finished!

I'll say that you complete it in under 90 hours!
@fortheloveofpuzzles2 ай бұрын
The pieces are definitely smaller and it is a different experience with them being plastic. They had bigger pieces in their advent calendar (as well as smaller ones) and I loved the larger size pieces. I wish they would do more regualr size puzzles with these larger pieces. And yes, that click is AMAZING!

@@fortheloveofpuzzles I've done Tenyo puzzles before and really like PieceRelax better. The pieces are bigger comparably and I like that they are opaque instead of see through like the Tenyo ones. If they could just make the pieces just a smidge bigger, it'd be a lot more accessible to people with disabilities. I did discover that I'm missing an edge piece and hope their free replacement policy works. I haven't heard back from them and it's been 2-3 business days already. At least it wasn't a missing piece from the center!

Such a pretty section! Love the colors in the sky. And the snack appearance! I have been on both a hot air balloon and helicopter and honestly both feel pretty smooth. The balloon seems like a bad idea to me logically, but the basket comes up high enough that it feels pretty secure too. Of course I went when I was a kid, so maybe I would feel a little differently today?

I worry that I would get motion sickness in a hot air balloon - I do in cars if I am not driving and on boats. But I think I’d be willing to try it once. 💜🧩

Hi Donnalouise, hope you are well. I finished Bag D last night, took my pics this morning and put it away. Started on Bag B tonight and have done the top left hand corner dark pieces and most of the balloon and basket - phew - got on well once I turned one section the right way LOL - makes a difference when you put them in the right place.

This is all looking really good isn't it. Lovely colours in that section. If I have been following it correctly you are now half way through. It is fortunate that you have the room to do these large jigsaw puzzles. I'm sticking to a 1000 pieces or less as I just don't have the space to do anything bigger. I guess you will be able to get in a few more videos before you go to Spain. Look forward to the next one.

Hi Donnalouise, haven't wrote anything to you in a long time :) I'm still working on the Disney Orchestra of this same set, started in mid-January and I have roughly 3000 pieces to go still. That's my third puzzle ever (ok, within the last 30 years) and I specifically wanted the challenge. That's also why I have the mixed bags. Have a great ummm... spring in New Zealand?
@fortheloveofpuzzles3 ай бұрын
HEY!!!! I was wondering about you as I hadn't seen you comment in awhile. How are you?? 3,000 pieces is not too bad - when do you think you might have it done?? And here in NZ it is still winter - spring starts September 1st. We've had a very easy winter in Dunedin so far. Almost too warm and nice.

@@fortheloveofpuzzles I'm ok, been doing stand up now for a year, 40 gigs done, had my my first tour of Finland and it is still great to see new people all the time :) I think the puzzle should be done by the end of September. Summer here in Finland has been pretty hot, but we are heading for the autumn now.

I knew you’d breeze through this section! ❤ I didn’t notice the cut pattern repeat, but that’s never something that I’ve focused on in puzzles, other than shape sorting when needed. I think your next section will be around the same time mark as this one, if not a little bit quicker, but I don’t think you’ll make it under 90 hours 😣. Maybe 95 total? I didn’t time myself, but those last two sections were rough! Enjoy the next part! There is so much detail in the background that you don’t see until you are looking at each piece 🥰
@fortheloveofpuzzles3 ай бұрын
I am a bit worried about those last two sections - especially Bag C which I think may end up being the slowest. I'm so looking forward to the next bag though - loving the detail and the colours.

Thanks for another puzzle video!!! The pieces that are the border between sections appear to have a very distinctive in/out prong shape. Are you able to easy spot these as you put the puzzle together? Could you sort these out in their own pile? What a beautiful section!

If you noticed that section D rotated upside down helped you with section B, that means it would have helped with section A...giving the opinion, as you stated, that 1 cut design was used for all 6 sections - just rotated 180* for the top & bottom. BTW, HOW did you know to use section D like you did?
@fortheloveofpuzzles2 ай бұрын
Because I built Bag A first and didn't have any other section already completed for help. I would recommend that people start with Bag D though knowing what I know now. I knew how to use Bag D like this just from my experience from building large piece count puzzles divided up into multiple bags. I know now to look for a repeat cut pattern within the section as well as between sections - and to check as they may just be rotated. Thanks for watching and commenting. 💜🧩
