I bought a full size PDP 5 inch 2nd iteration with the updated optic cut. I never wanted to shoot with a dot before, but after a couple months of having this awesome pistol I did something crazy. I bought a 2nd full size PDP 5 inch because I loved it so much! One for my upgraded iron sights and one for an optic. I heard about the direct mount SCS and thought that sounded like a good idea. So I bought one, put it on and started my dot training process. Man! I’m so glad I did. Some people might think the window is too small. But to me, it’s perfect. Low profile so it carries and hides very well. Plus, it made me really concentrate on draw consistency to acquire the dot. Occluding it during training and practice really helped too. And although some don’t like auto adjust, Holosun nailed it with the SCS. Now that I got proficient with my SCS dot, I’m thinking about the EPS for my other PDP.

Shake awake is a must for your ccw. Optional for a rifle or range gun but a ccw its a must. I carried a manual optic for two years and now a shake awake optic. I will never go back. Shake awake for when its time to shake and bake baby!❤

I would agree until I realized my hs407k with shake awake lasts half of what my trijicon rmr. I carry it 2-3 days a week at most but battery dies within 7 months 😔 I have yet to change my trij battery.

Excellent Video. Thank you so much for making this video. Just got the PDP-F and your video is exactly what I needed. I am going for the SCS-PDP-GR because of the not needing the plate and it looks like a slightly lower profile. You got a new fan. Cheers! Update 5/19 Bought the SCS PDP... Looks great on the gun but that is where it ends... The Button is Horrible and Makes This A HUGE FAIL! My wife and I both tried to turn it on and it was not easy to do. We thought it was bad out of the box and took many tries to turn it on. We finally got it, but it took the edge of the finger and fingernail, which is eventually going to split the rubber cover over the button. The button is too flush mounted against the frame and it does not work with a normal press of the button like on many other sights. There are only 2 settings for brightness and you have to use the same button to change those settings. NO SHAKE AWAKE! The only way to turn it on is with that button. The button makes this Red Dot Sight a HUGE FAIL. If you were in a situation where you needed to draw your weapon, by the time you got it turned on you would have lost the battle. Thank you Amazon returns!!

Thank you. I just purchased my second PDP, this one a F-series and my research found the same issues with the Holosun PDP SCS red dot. Thank you for updating your comment to confirm my findings. I am now trying to decide between the 407c and 507c.

@@freddyfudpucker6301 I placed my order on May 16th via the Walther website. Hopefully it gets here soon. I wish they would have just had them at the LGS or included the most popular plate with the firearm, doesn't seem like that big of a cost to just include it in the box, they give it to you free anyway and they pay for shipping. I see alot of email sales coming in, but not sure I saw a 507C. I just get mine off Amazon, so I know there won't be any issues returning it. I know that sucks, but some places can be a hard a** about returns. I buy my firearms locally, I buy my ammo locally, but both of them said that if they had to order it in, it would be considered a special order, and there was no return. I just took my F 3.5" to the range yesterday to do first shots with it to make sure it worked properly. The thing shoots amazing, especially with that trigger - I was able to do double taps for the first time, I at least hit the paper... LoL. I had a Hellcat that I sold and this was the best thing I did. I actually put a Hellcat on top of PDP F 3.5 and they really aren't that much bigger. I found a custom holster at Muddy River, bcs no one else had a F 3.5 specific design, that has shipped but tracking # progress has not moved in 3 days.

Any advice you can give me would be huge thank you. Is the used one 509t worth it? Do I need to buy a special adaptor plate to fit it on the canik mete sfx or will the one that comes with the sight work. Would you recommend the eps Carry instead? And if so do I need to purchase the adaptor plate for that too?

I am looking at getting the canik mete sfx. I saw the holosun 509t on your website that’s used and was very interested. I see it comes with an rmr optics plate will that fit the canik mete sfx or do I need to purchase another

I like the Holosun 507K the best. I noticed that the solar panel on the C series dims down the redical when it gets dark.

That means you have it on auto brightness. You can change it to manual brightness by holding down the + button until the reticle changes.
