Small Hands, Conceal Carry Baby PDP: Walther PDP F-Series 3.5in

It's not only for females! If you have smaller hands, the F series PDP from Walther may be a good choice for you. Also, if you want to conceal carry a Walther, and you cannot find a Walther PPQ SC, this 3.5 inch barrel version may be a little easier to carry than the larger versions. Except, the grip is still the same size. As of Early April 2023, this is the smallest Walther PDP available.

If you’re a man and wouldn’t buy this gun simply because the F stands for female, get over yourself!! It’s not like it’s hot pink! It’s a great gun, better than the majority of the other guns this size and caliber. My gunsmith has one of these and says it’s excellent! I always kept the small back strap on my M&P’s, so they would be more comfortable for my daughter, girlfriend and sister to shoot. I must be to in touch with my feminine side!!

Couldn't agree with you more, I purchased one of these in the 4 inch variant Monday. The guy behind the counter tried to sell me on other firearms, but my mind was made up. This gun is fantastic and will be my edc when I receive my holster and optic plate.

I have to get one of these. Perfect CCW. Awesome looking, appears more “executive” style than the regular PDP. Couldn’t care less who it was marketed towards. At least I have small 🙌

My compact pdp is my edc. i think Walther and Beretta (with the 80x) did themselves a disservice by marketing these guns toward women. These things are awesome pistols regardless and I'm a 6,2" 325lb 40 year old man and still want both 😂

IMO Walther nailed the whole PDP line. The "F" is solid but I do agree the marketing has seriously missed the mark. Average and smaller hands are not gender specific. It is nice that more ladies are taking advantage of this quality offering though...and the "free" optic is very nice.

Will be getting the 3.5 soon for my summertime EDC than the compact version, it will be easier to conceal, last year I was trying everything to conceal my PDP 4" but with this I can appendix carry with little to no discomfort

I have very large hands. Size 8 gloves. My current summer carry is the S&W shield plus with a 3" barrel. The pdp is a beefier gun than the sheild

Even further than just smaller hands- I have bigger hands but shorter fingers and trigger reach, grip circumference, slide stop location, etc., are all important to me. Example is golf gloves- they make one named "Cadet" in all sizes and it is designed for shorter fingers.

@@BigJon410 I have the PPS M2 and it's the most comfortable pistol I've ever carried. I've rotated through the P365, M&P Shield Plus, Glock 43X and it always comes down to either my Walther CCP or the PPS.

The PPQ has faded in the rear view mirror. PDP models are near perfection in 3 different frame sizes and barrel lengths of 3.5 to 5 inches. Beautiful textures, ergonomics, quality, reliability, a few colors, very strong company heritage with war and peace time designs. A best of breed pistol line. Prices will only go up. Buy now, Collect many. PPQ is history. Keep it in the kitchen drawer for back door cookie monsters.

the F should have just stood for Fuck Yeah!! This is a contender for me for EDC. Was into the Canik MC9 but they have let that gun out with serious QC problems. Trying to decide between this and the PDP-compact maybe. Really comes down to whether I want the chunkier grip on the compact.

They also claim on this F Series that the slide is 20% easier to rack!! One thing I like about Walther is the hi tech machining and how the rounds are chambered to make sure ALL of the gases are going into that round and you are getting a bit more FOS then other pistols of the same barrel size

Bull sh, I'm a big guy, This gun just fits. feels better than a Glock, or a Berretta, I have both. grip feels like a 1911, But way better. = better groups, best trigger out of the box. adjustable sights Best EDC I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Blows my storm away. Glock 43x not even close, even with a performance trigger. The reset on this gun is stupid for a 3 1/2" Yah, you can buy a full size pro range gun better, But not an EDC.

They should rather focus the marketing onto frame/hand size. There's many men that have girly and size hands but are not gonna want to buy a gun made for a girl. By doing that you're cutting out a huge demographic of buyers. It's much smarter to call it the PDP-S for small or short rather than F for female

I love watching the preview of your videos hahaha EagleEye! You must own a gun shop or something. I love this pistol. On their page it does say ALL hands and then it says EVERYONE in the description of the grip, trigger, & the slide saying it's 20% easier to rack. I had both PDP's in front of me and left with the PDP F in 3.5 like you have here. When I turned 21 I had the Walther P99 a couple decades ago lol I loved it, also bought the original Springfield XD and now I have a Springfield Elite 3.8 in 10mm. I look forward to buying the Holosun that screws right on the PDP F and the slide cerrations match right up! Only thing that sucks is I have a Tyrant for a Governor in my state of Washington State so I have the 10 round magazines. My sister lives in Oregon so ill have them send a couple magazines to her place. F you Gov. Jay Inslee ya snake

I think the PDP-F is a cool option. But is the slide of a PDP a little wide for conceal carry. I ask because another reviewer was suggesting it for home defense use and said you wouldn't want to carry it.

You're right for sure. Yeah, the length is shorter while it's just as wide and tall as any "M-Series" compact PDP. It's clearly time to introduce a PPS M3 like the concept shown on my channel for a true, high-capacity micro 9mm.

Don't buy a Glock and upgrade it, if you ever have a shoot, lawyers will trout you made yourself a killing machine. Better to buy the PDP 3 1/2 " 4 " full size your still getting a performance trigger, and a better feel, right out of the box. Once you put 1000 to 2000 rounds through it the trigger gets even better. the reset is the best I've shot Loud, and crisp My CCW. EDC. NO BS.

Thanks for the review. When the need came to drop the mag and clear the pistol, did the unfired round eject? Mine either fall out thru the mag well or just sit in the chamber until I turn the pistil on its side and shake the round out. When firing they eject fine. I have never had this issue with my G19 gen 4 or other striker fired pistols. Oh, and when squeezing the trigger, any issues with the trigger just stopping if pulled slightly off to the side? Thanks.
