I bought their DVD set too. Sadly, copyright issues have kept their episode off The Scooby Doo Movies set. That's why they call it almost complete. How ironic that John Astin is the only surviving cast member. One time he appeared on Mad About You. Paul didn't think it was him. He acted just like Gomez. The Munsters also lasted two seasons. Like Eddie, Pugsley's outfit included short pants. According to one commentary, the actor was sensitive to some materials. My favorite character was probably Lurch. Ted Cassidy even recorded a song using the character.

Black and white productions often used unusual colors for clothes and other props.Suoerman's costume was brown and tan for the episodes filmed in black and white.

Well the Munsters probably didn't do the Addams Family any favors, but the shows were both cancelled at about the same time. Gomez is my favorite of the family from the original, Wednesday in later stuff.

John Astin played a bright and almost cheerful Gomez, although I liked Raul julia's version too. Morticia was better with Carolyn Jones as she wasn't played so over the top. The Wednesdays have all had their pros and cons, but none were miscast. I preferred the 90s film versions of Pugsley though. Lurch and Fester have to be the classic ones, they just do the roles better than anyone.

Plus back then they COULDN'T watch both No VCRs of DVRs. Could they watch one when it aired and the other on the summer reruns? Does anyone know? If I HAd to choose I would be Team Munster but I like them both nearly neck and neck. (Or would THIS be throat to throat?) 🤓😎✌🏻
