Uncover 13 BEST things to do in the Namba and Dotonbori area in Osaka with kids. You'll be blown away by the countless fun activities and attractions there are in the area that surrounds Namba Station.
We could've dedicated an entire week to purely exploring and eating our way through the awesome insanity that is Dotonbori. If you're visiting Osaka with kids, we highly recommend coming to this area after the sun has set, it's one of the best things to do in Osaka at night. Gawk at the giant restaurant signboards and immerse yourself in the craziness.
While you're in Dotonbori, Osaka, don't forget to snap a selfie with the famous Glico Man, take a stroll on the boardwalk at Tombori River, eat all the Takoyaki and Japanese street snacks that your stomach can handle, and get your retail therapy on inside the shopping arcade at Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
That being said, we can't call it an Osaka travel guide without including the famous Hozenji Temple and its moss statue. Be sure to take your kids there and make a wish (it might just come true). If the kids have had enough of sightseeing for the day, take the minions to stretch their legs on the amazing rooftop at Namba Parks. If that's not enough physical exertion for them, head over to Round1 Stadium in Namba, Osaka, and go absolutely wild inside. This was, hands down, one of the top things to do in Osaka with kids and adults alike. Get inside a batting cage, play a round of bowling, spend hours at the arcade, go rollerblading or segway riding.. anything is possible inside this amazing entertainment centre.

So many cool shops over there. You really have some roller skating skills. 11 levels is nuts. I tried that Bull ride also and it’s tough. So much to do there. With all your Japan footage, almost seems you guys live there. Your kids are so cute. Had fun watching.

It's amazing how much stuff there is to do in Japan and they're all so cool! lol We wish we lived in Japan so we could do more. It's so hard to hold onto the bull when it spins so abruptly, can't imagine it on a real bull lol fun ride.

Really enjoy all your B Rolls and cinematic shots. Jack Sparrow looked legit. Love crab. My mom use to cooke live crabs. She would boil them alive and once a few jumped out and spent the rest of the night looking for them.
