You showed so many useful/practical eye candies, I feel spoiled… When I watch Treasure Books channel and your channel at my coffee breaks on Sundays, I always want to stop everything I do and switch to what you guys show. I have to exercise a lot of willpower to resist (otherwise nothing would get done in my house). 😊 As for the things I personally do with napkins… I use them as a final layer on my composite storage boxes. I make the boxes with cardboard (base) and wood strips (reinforced edges) and then cover the whole thing from inside and out with napkins. When all is dry, I paint it black. When that is dry I add depth by dry-brushing burnt umber acrylic paint all over. Then I decorate with clay (molds), plastic lace etc. So I would never thaw away the underlayers of napkins, I’d keep them for my storage creations (for which I never have shortage of need).
@Saacibo10 ай бұрын
Oh, wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate that. What a great idea using napkins for boxes. I’ve been thinking lately about trying to make some myself. It looks like a lot of fun, and as you said, we’re always in need of more storage for our stuff. 😊❤️

I saw your video on the where you made botanical paper using the starch and coffee, etc. I wanted to let you know that I made some of that, but I used a SPRAY starch, and it works perfect! Such a great video!! I also have a problem with napkins and tissue paper even, I buy them in packs at the Dollar Tree, Thrift Stores, or even Amazon when I find a lovely pattern at a great price. I always split them with my Ma, she’s also a crafter (not Junk Journals tho) and she splits the packs she gets with me. Needless to say, I have STACKS! 😆 I’ve tried a lot of these techniques, but a few I’ve heard of just haven’t gotten around to actually doing them and let’s be honest, sometimes I forget all the things that can be done with Napkins. lol. There were a few ideas that were new to me, so it’s extremely helpful to have them in one video to save & reference back if need be. Thank you so much Dragana! I hope I spelled that correctly 😳 ❤ You’re always inspiring! ❤😊

Hi, thankyou so much for sharing your ideas and knowledge. Can I ask how does your sewing machine needle like the double sided tape and glue. I am a quilter and started doing paper craft.
@Saacibo10 ай бұрын
Hello! Oh, needless don’t like double sided tape at all. It does help if I rub a little bit of machine oil with cotton bud over the needle( normally used to oil the sewing machines- the old ones in particular) White, clear and silicone glues and glue sticks are ok as long as they are completely dry. Sewing over hot glue ( when set) is most likely going to break the needle. I wouldn’t recommend it. Hope this helps 😊❤️
