Before the aircraft pushed back, the cabin sounded like a market. The moment it started moving, silence fell so fast you’d think we hit the mute button. But as soon as the lights came back on, the "market" reopened for business!

@@NikiSvaizer anni fa la jal operava in italia, non capisco perchè se ne sono andati, almeno c'è ana che opera solo da malpensa, chissà se in futuro pure a fiumicino ci saranno collegamente con il giappone pure con altre città

@aviationazzurraita1486 JAL stava passando una crisi economica più grande del previsto e ha dovuto chiudere le rotte prettamente turistiche come Milano, Roma e Amsterdam, operate da 744 in configurazione 90% economy. I costi di gestione di queste rotte erano maggiori dei ricavi.

Thanks for your comment. Well, if it’s a red-eye flight like this one, you just sleep after having a meal or watching a movie. The dark cabin would help you sleep and arrive at your destination more rested.

Is your flight to Milan 75% full, do you remember how much you pay to fly Cathay Pacific to Milan, does it include 1 check in luggage, is the luggage policy a little strict, how's passport control for entering and visiting Milan, did you take a bus to the city and when you arrive in Milan, did you get jetlag or you have energy (I am referring to, your awake after arriving in Milan and explore the city) and how's Hong Kong, did you enjoy your trip?

Oh wow how many questions… Checked baggage is included in all fares. Baggage policy is not so strict. Passport control is usually quite long in MXP. I had my car parked in MXP. No jet lag as it was a night flight and I slept for the majority of the flight.

Is that your 1st time flying your longest flight, 13 hours from Hong Kong to Milan, if so, how is it? I wish they have air vent for a comfortable long haul flight than without air vent.

It was one my longest flights I’ve ever taken. At least it was a night flight so for the majority of the time I slept. I wished they had air vents too.
