Australia - just wow! 😍And you have so many plants outside in the winter, that's so great! My balcony is almost empty now... But I'm working on it 😄Wish to have same big and healthy lettuces 🙏

My plan is to have something growing in each season, and this winter I have a lot of evergreen perennials. I find lettuce really easy to grow in autumn and winter. My balcony gets too hot for it in spring.

Iūs šaunuolė, taip atsakingai besirūpinanti savo augalais. Atostogos, sprendžiant iš pirmųjų kadrų, buvo įspūdingos. Sėkmės!

It's so nice you were able to take a vacation to warm Australia. The hard part is coming home to face the cold again. The lettuce looks so healthy and alive! I bet it's delicious. Where I live, the winters are way too cold to grow anything outdoors. Everything is frozen solid. I'm pretty sure clematis is hardy where I live so I don't think you need to worry about yours surviving. It's disappointing to lose plants to the cold, but to look on the bright side, you'll have space for something new in the spring.

That last line is basically my gardening motto: if something dies, I have room to try a new plant 😆 I've been a bit worried about the clematis because this is a Mediterranean type and I read on a lot of websites that it should be kept in a greenhouse in winter. It's still looking good though.

@@4m2balconygarden I didn't realize all clematis don't have the same hardiness. I hope yours survives.

Most of them are frost hardy, but I had to get the special kind 😂
