Honestly the best thing about this video is how she carries and presents herself: calm, clear, passionate about her craft and most of all endearingly genuine. This is an unashamed (and rightfully so) tribute and masterclass to something which has obviously inspired her, motivated her and given her an outlet for creativity and freedom of expression through vocalism and musicianship. Skills which have no doubt taken her years of practice to hone, and now she is passing on tips and techniques to help others. "In the old days" people didn't have help and advice like this, they had to figure things out for themselves, experiment and push themselves. The thing that is still just as true now is that people are still experimenting, still pushing themselves and the limits of what is possible, to create new techniques and sounds and, as she points out in the video, bring their own unique qualities and style in finding their own 'voice'. With respect, congrats Butterscotch!

how is any video NOT manually edited?
@fauziyaj8534 жыл бұрын
Karma i was thinking there could be a piece of software that can correlate sound and action to make it an easier process to edit. Like, once you’ve created rules and algorithms, it can help as a tool on the editor. I’m just thinking about it
@thatsfinn4 жыл бұрын
@@fauziyaj853 I'm sure that's probably possibly but it's not out there already so it wouldn't make sense for someone to go out and make it specifically for this video. Also that wouldn't be fun to integrate into existing common video editing software and the use cases are limited so it doesn't make much sense. It's a cool idea though.

Apparently, as I;ve just discovered. One thing that help's is having vocal ticks. I've always made a lot of different weird sounds with my mouth and throat (Tourettes). Especially when I'm bored or alone. I'm not a beat boxer at all. But beat boxing has sort of become a tick. I've never really thought about it until now. (I've been a hermit for 10 years). And no ones ever pointed it out, cos I'm usually alone. When I am iun public, I just get funny looks as standard practice which I'm used to regardless of what sounds I'm making. So... I just found out as a result of this video, that I can beat box up to level 8 of this video. And I can say "wid da beat boxing" with in my beats. Thank you Butterscotch. You're a sick beat boxer and you just made me realise I had a skill I didn't notice I had.
