I feel like this year the sprite community is very active. A few days ago Mario & Sonic x Freedom Planet premiered. Also, SpacePea released the intro for Super All-Star Bros and is working on chapter one. You released Mario, Sonic, & Kirby: Warriors of Chaos and now Pippo Mela is showing the introduction of his Super Ultimate Bros series this year the community is more alive than ever

Well dang, this was awesome! Some really nice animation touches, with all the facial movement and 3D shots. I am quite looking forward to where you take this story. That being said, one major critizium I have is to do with the battle scenes. There were a LOT of little pauses that I found really broke the pace of the scene. Here are a few examples: 13:01 - I feel like you could of had Mario react as soon as you panned back him, instead of waiting a bit after you panned back. 15:52 - Maybe have Kamek ready his attack a little sooner. And just in general, the overall pace of the fight could of been sped up a bit. Besides that tho, excellent job.

Very late on this, but I definitely appreciate your feedback and enjoyment of this video! This whole episode I am planning on fixing up; so, Episode 1 Part 1 will be getting an overhaul with new animation, and Part 2 will have scrolling dialogue, and the fight scenes will be cut down a bit to fix the flow a bit more. All while being uploaded as a full episode as opposed to being two separate parts. Also, I hope you’re looking forward to seeing the sneak peek of the first scene of Episode 2 this month, I’m hoping.

I really wish that Peach could actually fend for herself in these SMBZ-inspired series. It's just so irritating to see. There are moments in the games where she is actually capable of kicking ass, like in Super Smash Bros., Super Mario RPG, or Super Paper Mario, for example. Heck, even in the Super Mario Adventures comics, she was able to fight and even tried to escape from capture. She even saved Mario at one point. It's just wasted potential to see this version of Peach in these series. Just let her do something other than being a damsel in distress.

Dunno if I should call this a spoiler for Episode 2, but there will be a moment with Peach finally having enough of Bowser’s shenanigans over the years and confronting him on that in a more serious scene, and having some character growth, too. Don’t worry, she won’t be playing “damsel in distress” for much longer in this series… But, no, I really appreciate your comment.
