Ativalu is a big Samoan who had just debuted and had a couple 3 matches in ROH before Sinclair announced the Hiatus. He's impressive, but lost in his first match to Matt Makowski who I have yet to see debut on Dark. Makowski is a former MMA guy. Really fast hold for hold counter for counter wrestler. It's starting to look like AR Fox might be a part of ROH. Which is great, I wanted him there since at least 2018. Was a big fan of Calab Conley in NWA and he had a great showing on Dark a couple months ago.

It's weird seeing Diamante play the babyface. She's usually one of the most ruthless and brutal heels in the women's division, but Athena's really running with this ultra-aggressive heel persona, so it makes sense that an ultra violent heel is sacrificed to the Fallen Goddess. But I think now Diamante is suffering from the Warf Effect- she's not NEARLY as strong as she used to be, as she's now being used as a yardstick to show how badass the new ladies are. (Nyla was similarly affected, but right now she actually has a story as the fake TBS Champion and has a feud with the invincible Jade as a result.)
