Sorry for my silly question but I’m new to the game. If I understand correctly then if I have my first character at cp 300 then all I need to do is level my second character to 50 and once it reaches 50 he is automatically cp 300. Is this correct? So I can immidiate start wearing Armor cp160.

One thing I would add, for a new character, don't buy any bag upgrades until you get the first one which you'll get for free as part of the "new character level" rewards. If you have purchased it already, you can't get the free upgrade.

i basically quit the game about a month after it came out. I was super frustrated/didn't know what the heck to do/was dying all the time. I came back in the summer of 2016, watched some Deltia videos that put me on the right track. But i watched a LOT of videos. It's both cool and frustrating...it's kind of like ESO wants to push people into Guilds in order to show people the ropes. If you didn't "research" the game or join a guild and tried doing the game blind???? wow, that'd be super frustrating.

On PC, the dialog options are actually numbered even though the game UI doesn't show it. So, you can tap 1 for the first option, or 2 for the second option, and so on, if you would rather not use the mouse.

Don’t know if I missed it but from what I understand is for CP if your putting points in a star, for example up to 12.17% if you put any points into that and it doesn’t hit 13. Your wasting points. The reason is it always goes to the base number. So 12.17 is actually just 12%. 12.85% would still only be 12%

Its called jump points Not all of the Champion points are affected by jump points tho For example all of the red tree is affected by jump points But only about half of the green tree is And the rounding is brutal 12.1 rounds to 12 12.9 rounds to 12 And the kicker: 13.00 rounds to 12

Adding to tip 1: You can also travel to any group dungeon or trial by clicking on the symbol on your world map. However, then leaving the dungeon/trial through its entrance will not put you in that dungeons/trials zone, but rather back to the point you initially fast traveled from. So no chance to use those as bootleg wayshrines.

A little extra tip: You can also fast trave for free to any houses you own - and when you exit, you end up in the exact zone and spot where the house is. I do this all the time to craft in Vvardenfell, no matter where my toons are.

Since you mentioned Soul Gems, it's probably worth mentioning that they're useless until you fill them. And, you use the Soul Trap ability to fill them. In your skill tree it's World Skills-Soul Magic-Soul Trap. Cast Soul Trap on an enemy and you steal his soul if he dies while the ability is active.

Not to mention dolmen farming and selling the sets at guild traders for a profit doesn't always guarantee a sale. I don't even buy empties. I just do my crafting dailies and I've over 3k empties just sitting in my mule bank along with 1.5k filled. This isn't counting what's spread out between my characters either.

In regards to the bag slots, there's normally a limit of 200 slots total regardless of how you get your slots. However if you get an inventory pet, all characters get an extra 5 slots for each pet and your slot limit is increased for all characters on your account. There are two inventory pets, the Bristleneck War Board and Mournhold Packrat, getting both of those increase your bag limit to 210.

Good job, Hack. I'd add that fast traveling to a house you own is always free. Also, when leveling up a weapon skill, have that weapon equipped when you turn in quests. (You can also have skills equipped for weapons that you're not using, if you want to spread the XP around rather than concentrate it.)

Need to add one quick thing: DON'T buy an inventory upgrade until you get the one in the level up reward. It will pay for the first one, but if you already brought one yourself, it WON'T give you an upgrade, even though it says it did. The same thing applies to the bank upgrades. You're only saving a few gold, but it's still worth knowing.

Do take note that if you turn on prevent attacking innocent feature, you won't be able to use the blade of woe, vampire feed synergy as well. You use to not be able to defend yourself against neutral/friendly NPC turned hostile (example if you're caught performing necromancy in town, but they removed that in recent patches. )

I know another tip about the gear: that you can't repair staves. You need to charge them with soul gem - thats how you repair them. I figured it out somehow😆. Its true there is not much explanation in this game. Like me(I play totaly alone) I am champion 203 and I have never done writs😳still don't know what they are, where and what for they are really tbh - I just heard about them on yt🤣 And as for Summerset event😳It took me time to figure out the feathers/berries system🤦🏻‍♀️and the fact that you need to buy those as you can have with you only up to 12 tickets in total😳🤯🤣

writs are daily crafting quests that you can do for rewards like materials and such related to crafting but they only become available once you get certified..it's been ages since I did it so I forget their names but its a dark elf man and wood elf woman in your starting zone and I believe main city in dlc zones...do their small side quests teaching you the basics to get certified

Fastest way (imo) for collecting soul gems is doing the dolmens in the Aliki's Desert. The chests drop filled soul gems pretty often, and there's plenty of enemies to use to fill up the empty ones you get. Only problem is that getting to the Aliki'r Desert for the first time on a toon can be a huge pain.

One tip I want to mention myself as a level 13 character who hasn't even unlocked my weapon swaps on pc yet: If you download add ons, some of them may require other add ons to function, I had no idea this was a thing and had to figure it out the hard way. For example I browsed steam's forums and found a link to an add on manager called Minion and I wanted to start with one small feature: sky shard icons on the map. I downloaded the add on and then it appeared on the game in red text, it said it needed "libraries" to work. I had no idea what that was, from my understanding it's similar to a bike. If you want a bike you'll need wheels and a chain and a set of handlebars etc. to have a proper bike. So in order to get your "bike" to work, you need the components for it to work. I had to download the proper libraries from the Minion client and now the sky shard add on works perfectly, it even has a proximity feature similar to vanilla icons on the overhead compass. idk if this counts as some kind of third party shady thing, I'm just trying to be helpful since modding is a big part of pc gaming and I'm hoping this reaches anyone who's stuck on level 0 like I am

One big tip I would give anyone is to buy as many houses as you can(not including the crown exclusive ones). Houses are free wayshrines and they're automatically available when you start a new toon. The staple homes are dirt cheap

No mention of using housing as a fast/free means of teleportation and its effect on the cost of teleporting to wayshrines from anywhere there after. I use housing for teleporting for free from the backend of dungeons. Also bank space can be increased through housing using chests. One comes for free at level 18, giving an extra 30 storage slots, like bank slots. If you do master writs, you can earn writ vouchers and purchase 3 more small chests and 4 more large, increasing your storage capacity by a whopping 360 slots, which is 150% more storage than the bank, without the ESO membership. So without membership, that's 600 storage slots and with membership 840. One house comes for free through a quest.

You can also Fast Travel to any home you own for free, but it does count towards a second fast travel if you are not at a Shrine. On Soul Gems, they are cheaper if you buy them from a Mystic NPC merchant than a regular merchant.

I remember the first time I realized that my equipment needed to be repaired. I had been fighting Faolchu in the castle and died repeatedly with no chance of winning. After like the fifth time I saw the death tip that said I may need to repair my armor. It was all at 0! so once I had it all repaired I knocked him right out.

Another travel tip, if you have a house you can travel to it from anywhere for free, even with a character that's never been to that house. You can buy a house in a zone you've never been in and then travel to it and all characters on your account can use it.

From my understanding it’s when you activate a light attack between every spell and heavy attack to min-max your damage but also greatly increases your damage. I didn’t okay enough to master it but it’s a must learn.

Kwstas Xatzhpetros not sure if you have Eso plus but if you do All the dlc including Elsweyr is free you would only have to by Greymoor, at least until the next expansion. But I know subs can be a hassle if money is tight. Just depends on how invested you are in the content. Might be worth it if your budget allows you to swing it

I've never paid for shrines. Don't see a reason. Another tip about bag space, there are 2 non-combat pets, you can buy in the store, that adds permanent bag space, across your whole account. There is NO REASON to buy lockpicks or soul gems. I get at least 10 lockpicks just in the beginning tutorial, and if you search containers in dungeons, you'll find plenty. Soul gems can be found in chests and other containers as well as random drops from mobs. But, the easiest way, is Dolmen grinding. I'll take a fresh lvl 3 character to grind a Dolmen, with no gems, and in an hour or less, I'll leave with 10 or more.

Jason Gambrel i’m casual, level 47 with 130 hours. I dont really delve much or dungeon much. Just side quests, thieving, and the occasional delve/dungeon. I craft a bit, pick up mats as i see them, sell atiny bit here and there on the guild, but am not really social. I do use training sets. I think i heard that you can do it in 4 hours so 😵 it’s however long you want it to be

Whats the cheapest way to play this game with all the dlc's ? Im gonna guse. Buy a copy from a pawn shop. Then just buy xbox cards with your money then use that for the ESO Plus ( I heard ESO plus includes the other area's you can go to ) would this be a good idea ? Starting to crave this game :) I got that " new game " feeling. Iv never played it before.

another thing the game does not tell youy is that in order to do random veteran dungeons you will need to grind your life away just to get to 810cp because if you try before 810cp people will just kick you from the group
