For Kevin Love, he dropped off because he was given a different role on the cavs. In Minnesota, most of his shots came from going to the rim. In the Cavs, they already had 2 players able to go to the rim in kyrie and lebron. So Kevin was given more of a catch and shoot role which wasn't his strong suit.

DeRozan - his terrible +/- is because of LeBron and getting blown out by the Cavs multiple years in a row. He's had some bad games, but everyone has, and his averages in the playoffs line up with his regular season stats. Lowry - Change in role, not the 1st or 2nd scoring option but still gets lots of assists and has playmaking awareness Carmelo - Shooter needing to change role due to age and less athleticism, he did well on Portland when he was in a catch and shoot role. KLove - Change in role and reduction in minutes (his per36 and per48 have been consistent since joining the Cavs). Harden - change in NBA rules, perimeter players can guard him more closely without picking up cheap fouls. Draymond - HUH!?!? He just won a championship as the warriors defense anchor and led the team in average assists, rebounds, blocks; 2nd in average steals, nearly averaged a triple double for the season, got selected to an All-Star game, and got DPOY consideration. MASSIVE MISS. Thomas - injury Ibaka - ongoing injury Andre Drummond - same as Randle, he played great on a bad Detroit team but mellowed out on better teams and versus better competition. I mean of course Kevin Love dropped off when he went from being the only guy the shitty Wolves team had to a 3rd option in Cleveland. He became a bus rider. I personally don’t think he was a good fit. I wouldve had him stay in the paint and take the 8-10 foot shot if open and just rebound like a maniac. I never saw him as a great stretch 4 while in Minnesota but I also wasn’t watching the 25 win Wolves teams play. Blake got injured…Harden was affected by the rule change now that he can’t initiate the contact, Ibaka didn’t have the play style for the modern NBA.
