Thanks very much. I did quite a few videos on boating and boatlife in general. I am back now to living on land as I had to get back to an office job. However, I really enjoyed the boating lifestyle while it lasted.

Yes - As we did the narrowboat for 18 months, we intend to explore the differences. Loving still being on the canals, but in a bigger space so far x

Will it cut the amount of canals you can move on? Also did you think of getting a longer narrow boat? Been looking at boats at Newark today going through the locks on the Trent.

Yes, it will significantly cut down where on the canal network we can go, but still leaves us many miles of lovely canals and rivers to explore. We already had a 61 foot narrowboat, and 70 foot is the longest that will fit, so wouldn't have given us that much extra space. Boat watching is a great sunday activity :)

A dishwasher?! A real luxury on a boat, but well worth having If space permits. Just makes keeping the galley tidy so much easier, and surprisingly they actually use less water than washing up the same quantity manually. It's worth ensuring you have sufficient crockery that you can wait until it's full before using it, rather than having to run it just to wash enough plates and cutlery for dinner.

haha - you get the prize for being the first to spot the dishwasher :) Uses less water, needs a smaller galley and nothing at all to do with the fact nobody likes doing the dishes :)

Loving it so far, but very early days to cruising with it. Initially it felt a bit like taking a tanker through the suez canal, but we are getting used to it a bit more now, and it is pretty easy once you get familiar with it.
