Fun fact: say mostly what you think when complimenting. Because only then you will express emotion and while saying the compliment the other person will feel about it a lot better. Because you will say it with passion. It will sound real. I’m saying mostly because there’s sometimes people who may really need a compliment, but you just don’t really know what to hook on. Years ago, Aaron made a video about compliments. And one of the ones I always used. Was “you have a beautiful smile” and that one always did good for me. But for phrases and things I say, it’s always about how I greet people. I’m originally from New York, so how we say hello is “How ya doing?” (Really we don’t give a shit how you’re doing) but when I meet people or see people, I normally am around and I greet them that way and stick out my hand for a handshake or go for a hug.
