We just watched our team absolutely bosses by rangers and fans expect a response and yesterdays game was not much of a response, especially in the first 30 minutes and saying “they defended well” is no excuse, they had 1 first choice defender on the pitch and a GK that only signed days ago. I get BR's point. We should be getting behind the team at 0-0 and trying to urge the team on. And I sympathize with Taylor if he felt offended by the KT chants. He has always lived in KT's shadow yet has done a fairly decent job of being our left back for the last 3 or 4 years. Rodgers has obviously had to console Taylor after that and it may have just cemented Taylor's exit.....and we may not even have KT lined up. Thats all speculation so far. But he has to realize that the backwards/sideways passing along the back has cost us a few times and as such, causes anxiety amongst the fans. Its a natural reaction to show nerves when that happens. Playing across the back is not the only way to change the angle of attack. We have to find a way to be more unpredictable than that. We back this club through thick and thin. And will do long after Rodgers, Taylor and Tierney are gone.

At the end of the day, Celtic players are paid HANDSOMELY to play for Celtic, maybe not Premiership money but a LOT more money than most people in the stands and the fans pay THOUSANDS to the club to go watch their team play so the fans should have a say on what goes on on the field! Can see both sides of argument Khuns goal was our 2nd shot on target in 120 mins of football. We start games dead slow, last 7 games if we want to include starting from Zagreb till now we've scored 4 goals in the first half of games with average shots & target most likely being 3/1. For Rodgers & the team, we cant just score 5/10 mins into every game, weve 2 strikers that cant score to save themselves & teams just sitting back trying to make it slower & game dire for as long as possible. Played 14 games in 8 weeks only losing 1 & drawing 3 (2 CL). Sometimes we have to be patient, id rather start slow & win games rsther than what we seen this time last season.

The abuse, (and it is abuse!!), that Greg Taylor is receives is absolutely disgraceful!!! This man has given his all for the club for the 5 years he has been at it, yet all he get is this abuse for his efforts!! Greg is not the greatest full back Celtic have had, but he has contributed greatly to the success of the club since he joined, being pivotal to the way the current manager wants to play. No one would deny that he is beyond criticism, but most of what flows in his direction is not constructive criticism! There are many current players who have contributed less than he, and make more errors, but receive a fraction of the flack he gets. Why is that? The conclusion I have come to is, down to his early sojourn at Rangers! To the bigots in the fanbase he will never be, to use that unpleasant and arrogant phrase, 'one of us', and therefore fair game for attacks however unjustified or irrational they are. If he is contemplating moving on, it is no wonder, given the lack of support and encouragement he receives. I wouldn't blame him. Though I would want him to stay, it would 'get it right up' the people who constantly attack him and his abilities! The manager was right to call out those singing Tierney's name, (and I presume it was those green brigade morons!). Can you imagine how disillusioning it would be to hear that? Particularly, the name of someone, who gave Celtic about a year and a half of their time, before taking off at the first chance they got, despite telling anyone who would listen, how much he loved the club, and no matter how many times he kissed the badge, (a sure sign of a charlatan). I for one, will continue support and encourage Greg, and constructively criticise when he deserves it, for as long as he plays for Celtic. The lackadaisical attitude of our fans seems to be hanging around on the pitch the last 4 or 5 games has been more than evident , yeah couple of 4-0 wins and a draw and a loss which could've been avoided along with draw against Utd but that attitude on the pitch that Jim Goodwin sussed and dealt a good hand of tactics as did clementine , they could see when we laid our stall it was done with a lacklustre attitude, thing is its still there even in our wins , the look of hunger and drive is slowly dissipating and that is a worry particularly trying for next stage CL , granted we have ruled supreme since sevco apart from that one title when we shot ourselves in both feet , we are in the middle of negotiating a deal to bring back a player Kieran Tierney , now if we showed any interest in any other player who had no less than a DOZEN injuries since 2019 then questions would be asked ! ! But because he is a diehard and did the job before then that's OK? No it's not OK , for starters he's older and certainly nowhere near the fitness levels for the rigorous physicality of our game , playing a game every 3 days not to mention the training schedule, if it is done as appeasement for fans then how does this serve the club longterm and we brought in Paul Tisdale to do that very job . Currently we need 2 more attacking midfielders and a striker that can crack the ball from distance and 2 left backs , the reason I have half a team is because the guys that cover from the bench aren't very good at covering hence why our regular players don't get rested enough and also to mix up the so predictable formation which has cost us pts domestically and in europe , we got it right against Atalanta but failed miserably against Brugge at home , if Brendan doesn't try it real time we will never know , tactics need changed and weren't at ibrox , played same set up in final and Brendan's complacency cost us 3pts and embarrassment of losing to the worst side from there in over a decade . The comparison is the side that got us to Seville , regardless of pts ahead in table would never had gave 3pts away so easily and tactics were changed about back then by Martin O'Neil and look at us then , I am chuffed with progress but not happy to be content with what we have achieved over the years , need to surpass that and get where we should be , fans should always demand more from their team .HH
