Sadly, I had to sell my Sub 37. I had to pay for my fathers funeral last month. It was and still is the greatest thing I have ever owned and I cried after they came to pick it up. Nothing sounds like it, it does Melodic Techno perfect. Anyone thinking of buying one should do it, no question.

The rubber band hack! One for the ages. I bought the subsequent 37 especially for its gargantuan mod matrix. I think I’ll have years of fun exploring it, but I’ve covered basics like controlling LFO amount or speed from another LFO or envelope. The envelope controls on this synth are baffling but really usable for playability once you get to know them. Multi trig, delay etc.

I have underrated Korg R3 which has external in for an oscillator choice. Using your trick and inserting, for example, the original IK Uno definitely expands its palette. Although you can't modulate pitch using an LFO or ENV from the "mothership," you can create modulation on the external oscillator that matches and is governed by a common controller on the mothership.
