Absolutelly, I acquired one for Christmas and don't have words to describe how delightful it is. When hearing it is wonderful, but when you touch it, that's another level. Moreover, it can sound like heaven, or HELL if you want to (and actually they say its devil side is even more impressive).

Altough it’s a very instructive video,and very well done by him,I want to mention(like he said at the end) there is still much more to do… making a track is like writing a book,and it’s for sure takes much more than 15 minutes! Don’t rush your process if you are a beginner/ medium, enjoy the process instead and let it breath and rest if your are struggling or not in the mood,but make sure that you finish your story until the end,doesn’t matter how long it will take because you are gonna impact yours and someone else’s emotions …

Some of the best tracks have been done in only few hours. Best ideas just flow and over complicating things and arrangements doesn’t necessarily do the track any favours.

You throw the delay on the Moog instantly to create a stereo image? I know the synth is in mono and sounds partial when recording audio.

So great! Can anyone explain how I can play the moog while putting the notes in as MIDI. As this guy in the video is doing. I dont understand it since the sound comes as audio, not MIDI.
@pierrejansen66602 жыл бұрын
You can do this on the Minilogue as well. With the Minilogue, you can connect it to the computer with USB, and then you can send/receive MIDI over there. There’s then a setting on the synth to tell it to ignore internal notes from the keyboard, so it will only “listen” to external MIDI. That way you can get your DAW to “listen” to the keyboard, and then send MIDI “back” - either from clips or from the keyboard itself if armed (or both). You then can have your audio out on another track (or just use the External Instrument in Ableton). (You may not even need to go the whole USB route, it may be possible with just the DIN MIDI in/out with the same settings)
