I'm not confident WR will overshadow ML here in my region. All of my friends still play ML. I admit it was really hard to transition to WR. Many of my friends just went back to ML because it was more familiar and it's just kills galore there. I persevered with WR because at least Riot has a bit more integrity than Moonton. Also, WR is more focused with team work than just scoring kills. Sadly not a lot of my friends share the same admiration I have for WR...

Just wanna share, in the "position lab"/"role selection" mode there are too many players who doesn't follows the role they got and it affects the whole team, too many ML players were exposed in that mode. I hope when role selection is already in rank players wont be like that.

The problem is if the position would have the same hero type, (tank, warrior, etc) then the first pick will have the advantage to pick ur hero. I really don't care what type I'm in. I just hate it when I see 2 MM roles ex. Jinx and Ashe or Jin and MF, etc.

QOTD: Huge Smite player for years and I've always wanted to get into league. Was drawn to it for its great characters and designs.Tried League on PC many many times with multiple friends. Really gave it a good try but couldn't get into it. Gigantic learning curve that I, unfortunately, didn't have time to dedicate myself to the game in it's entirety. Smite was always a game I could pick and play and be relatively ok even with months off. The simple change of gaining gold from minions even without last hitting, smaller map, quicker games and controls, for me, makes Wild Rift so much more enjoyable and pick up and play friendly than the PC version. To me, the true League experience will always be the PC one but I am not trying to be a Challenger. I want to jump in a game, pick a badass character, do their cool moves while having awesome team fights and have fun. Wild Rift seems like that medium for me. Its the League that I was looking for.

But when they released a trailer of Wildrift, I was thrilled. I immediately deleted Mobile Legends and downloaded wildrift. I came from AOV. And the one thing I wished I knew is what and where character go. I've selected the wrong choice because I don't know a character. AOV has a map in the selection zone and when you pick one it auto puts you in the lane your supposed to go to.

I feel your pain so much on this. Been playing vainglory since the beta. Then it just died last year cause of abandonment 😪. I'm loving wild rift, but it's hard getting used to this control scheme when I've been so used to vainglory's tap controls :(. Hopefully in the future, perhaps riot could implement tap controls since it would be far better to play.

Some things I wished I knew: 1) Rito not going fix ping for my British friend and he would quit and stop streaming it after putting a few months of efforts in it 2) as I live in Russia, I’ll be placed in a special Russian queue where people don’t speak English and play like MLBB apes 3) all tanky supports they will add first will be ugly male champs (but ofc MlBb apes want a supp to be a tank) 4) half a year would pass before they finally implemented role selection, but I would lose any interest to that game by then 🙄

QOTD: I actually came from MLBB my first mobile MOBA game & HoN in PC platform. I used to love MLBB because it was popular here in my country and most of my friends plays the game because it is playable on breaktimes at work or school so I was able to learn the game & the in-depth mechanics and items, but as the seasons went by, I begin to realize that MLBB are focusing on buffing & nerfing marksman & assassin heroes & not noticing tanks in general & tanks are becoming useless throughout each game because they can no longer sustain much in clashes. That's why I quit MLBB last 2 seasons ago. When I heard Wildrift has a decent META are giving "decent balance" on every champion roles before its day 1 of OPEN-BETA. I like it & it was worth the wait to play. (I'm a tank & support main btw)

I grew up playing Frozen Throne and Age Of Empires back when you couldn't use the telephone and internet at the same time (Dial-Up) 👌🤣😏 . Phased out of that into more FPS, mmorpg and dark souls type games around the original cod 4 release. Anyways started doing MLG and my best friend talked me into playing League around a decade ago now. I was hooked immediately, the intense pvp aspect, the immense amount of skillcap etc. Then life happened I started working more, went to college, got shacked up with my beautiful life partner had kids and moved more to mobile gaming because of time and was stuck playing MLBB. QOTD: like many others even i come from MLBB. On pc i only played CS:GO for more than 5 years & 1.6 for more than 7years. And for those players talking about MLBB graphics. May b those kids never played cs 1.6 which was one of best fps game for longest time. That's a good example of that, Graphics doesn't decide how interesting or good a game is. But however MLBB dug his graves themselves, as they continued to launch unbalanced champs just for players to buy them early on with diamonds, so they can easily climb ranks. In MLBB every new hero launched are broken af. They have testing servers just for advertisement.

QOTD: Welp I actually came from Mobile Legends. Didn't really play it much recently so got pretty hyped once Wild Rift came out. Decided to move on from Mobile Legends and stick with Wild Rift🧐😉😁
