Be careful when you pick your bunny up they are definitely strong and can squirm and jump out of your arms but if they get that way put them down IMMEDIATELY so they don’t fall. Give them love and kisses then try again later :)

My rabbit Charlie actually likes to be "chased" it's a game to him that rabbits play with each other. He gets my attention by nose touching me, then he darts away and binkies. It's the cutest thing ever! One thing he absolutely hates is carrots. Carrots make him super angry for some reason so I don't give him any as I know just the smell of carrots triggers him to fight

Mine makes eye contact with me then hops a few feet away. When I reach him he hops a few more feet away. We usually end up at his fav. petting spots or in front of the treat bin 😁 He’s basically telling me to follow him 😄

My bunny is 3, he hates being told "No" or "what are you doing?" when he is pushing his boundaries or being naughty. Usually he gives me the bunny back leg kicks as he runs off fleeing the scene, aka the send off. Lol. Of course he doesn't like the occasional bum bath, but super fluffy bunnies need it to prevent painful fecal mats. While well behaved at the vet he does not like the bum shaves and the nail clippings and strangers touching him. Took him 2 years to warm up to my Mom who lives upstairs and visits often. He won't even do his trained tricks in front of anyone besides his 4 human bonds (myself, husband and 2 teenagers). He's recently stilling getting iver GI Stasis and now decides he doesn't like Critical Care anymore and I hate syringe feeding (don't all bunny parents) Thanks for the video. Lennon is super cute.

4:58 it depends on the rabbit, I have a rabbit that likes being picked up. So if you want one that you can pick up, I suggest you search rabbits that like to be held.

I have three bunnies and we're building a nice big space for them to be safe outside. One of them doesn't mind being picked up, while one will hop away most times you try to pick her up (she has long fur though so I have to in order to brush her regularly), and the third one is kind of in the middle. It's a 50/50 chance you can pick her up.

My Dutch doe Daisy hates hates hates being picked up. When I do she clutches my chest as if hanging on for dear life and hyperventilates acting like she thinks she is about to die. She is a rescue so I am thinking something bad happened to her after being picked up in her former life. Nothing bad has ever happened to her since I got her. I also can't use food rewards to help lessen her anxiety as she will not eat even her favorite treats if she is stressed or anxious in any way.

The bunny I fostered used to actually love getting chased, maybe it gave him like a thrill? He used to purposely do mischievous things so that I would jog up to him and just when I was about to touch him he would start running around doing little happy jumps (you know the jumps when they jump and like spin around in the air). It was really cute and he used to lick me in my face too 😊

My bunny doesn't particularly like being picked up when it's convenient for my son and I to do so, but, will nose bump our legs when he wants to cuddle. When he does this we pick him up and he will snuggle into our neck and completely strech himself out over our shoulders. It's almost like he's giving us hugs! I find that rabbits are very similar to cats in that way. They will come to you and let you know what they want

Definitely car rides for snickers. When he came back from getting fixed march 2020 he was so stressed. Thats why its more rare when we take him places, but we do take him to tractor supply now to get him to tolerate it without such a big deal.

hey just a question?I have a great house size and its very clean and lots of. places to hide, but I have a dog and shes an inside dog. and my dad wont let me keep the rabbit inside. so is it possible to keep them outside and then bringing them inside in the morning?

You can keep rabbits outside under certain circumstances. 1. Have a 100% predator safe enclosure! Predators should have no way of getting in, the rabbits no way of getting out. 2. Have shelter in there that makes them feel safe and keeps them warm/cold/dry depending on the weather. This shelter should be big enough so they're not confined in a small space when it rains etc 3. Have more than one rabbit! Keeping rabbits as single buns inside is bad enough but letting one stay outside without any form of same species interaction is just cruel. Even if it's "just" at night! they need eachother to communicate, cuddle and feel safe.

My little guy hates to be picked up, if it's to take him to the vet I lure him with a treat and give him a lot of head rubs after. He doesn't let me trim his nails so the vet techs help with that haha. I brush him on the ground so he's relaxed for that haha. I am trying to get him used to going downstairs because I feel bad when the whole family is downstairs and he's upstairs alone. Unfortunately that means picking him up. He can't go down the stairs on his own. I always try to keep him calm and we bought a rug so he can roam around in the living room. He's really smart though he hides haha it's like he already knows. 😂 Thank you for another awesome video Lorelei! ^_^

My bunny hates it when I'm late with his meals :) He will find me and tug on my pants, or my leg hair, until I feed him, then he runs around like he's lost his sanity until he hears me open his food, then, BAM!, directly to his food bowl. He does like playing chase, I'll walk into the living room, he'll run at me, I'll run back to my room, he'll chase me. He stops a my door, turns around, takes a hop, looks back at me like he's saying it's your turn, and start to run away, I'll chase him into the living room, and we repeat until he goes under the couch. Which is his way of saying, "I am done with you peon, go away, I shall rest now!" As for picking him up... as soon as I touch him with both hands, he's done with me. He turns to a soft, furry liquid and shoots under the couch until I get better manners. (But he's so fluffy, I could die!!!! And I want to pick him up and stroke him and cuddle him, but he says, "No.")

Some tips for bonding: Both rabbits need to be bonded in a neutral area (a place where your Snoop hasn't been yet) and they both need to be placed in there together at the same time. Do not interrupt the bonding process unless one of them is seriously injured (so check for injuries regulary). Keep in mind that chasing and fighting is normal. The bonding process can take up to several days or even weeks. If you think that both of them are getting along well, you should still keep them in their neutral area for 2-3 days before moving them in their main place (where you want to keep them). I myself have been through 2 different bondings and even though they are stressful it's definitely worth it! I hope this was helpful. :)
