I'm from Pakistan, you are right about the dust storms, but personally i haven't seen it, I'm from Islamabad and dust storms are in desert areas. I might get to see one, once I come to Lubbock. and I too like the noun in the word you use for dust storm! ;-)

Hey, guys, Lubbock does not yet have a German restaurant. There has to be someone out there who can specialize in that cuisine who can make inroads in the Hub City. Gotta have some schnitzel in Lubbock. And don't anyone be fooled by the Bier Haus restaurant on Broadway. They don't have German food, save for a pretzel appetizer. Missed opportunity, folks.

That’s a great point. Just like the other lacking cultural restaurants, there is SO much opportunity for Lubbock to have plenty of unique shops and restaurants. Great point. Hopefully someone with German descent will decide to capitalize on the lack of German influence here!

I feel like the Velcro thing would be pretty embarrassing to aliens if they existed. Group several tiny pieces of plastic together and press it to loose small fibers, the fibers will cling to the plastic pieces. 💁🏼♀️

I am from Pakistan. I have never seen a dust storm of sorts. I mean there is a lot of dust but no dust storms.

Just a suggestion. When you're talking about a place, show clips of the actual place and not random ones from somewhere else.

easy; hook & loop (velcro)invented by George de Mestral..This first patent was issued on March 16, 1954 in Switzerland. From the French words “velour” (velvet) and “crochet” (hook), de Mestral created the iconic VELCRO® trademark to identify his brand of hook and loop fastener.......... Dude, are those ankle boots with spurs? lol🤣😂🤣.... and they are planning on taking out the city pools and replacing with splash pads, Every one is all mad about it... but I think it makes sense..... easier , cheaper to maintain, less liability.
