Fun fact, in America, the prices are much closer to each other. Both 2k for 4060 px13 or 4070 g14. There is also the 2400 g16 same as g14 that you reviewed that has an extra 1tb of storage and the faster cpu and higher refresh rate monitor. Worth it for me despite the reduced portability and screen sharpness

Real problem is they made the px13 a 60hz "creator" laptop instead of putting the better 120hz display in it. It could have just been another flow x13 or rebranded the line. Instead? They make the spec crapshow that is the px13. I dont care how powerful. Still 60hz? In 2024? Thats just intentional customer base limiting.

Only get the PX13 if you need the pen. BTW the Flow X13 isn't better in every way. Its 4060/4070 GPU only gets 60W, and it doesn't quite have enough cooling to handle the 7940HS CPU. The PX13 is basically the Flow X13 with a substantially beefed up cooling capacity.

I absolutely abhor the 135deg hinge of the g14. That's a complete dealbreaker for me. 160 is the minimum I'll tolerate. And in 7:06, the g14 clearly has more wobble.

Thank you! It's basically identical, except that the pixel layout is a bit different between OLED and LCDs. You'll only really see the difference if you shove your face in the screen xd

Whether or not the G14 is cheaper definitely depends on your market. Here in the US I can get the PX13 for about the same price if not cheaper.

Where I live the px13 with 4070 is around 2300 euro while the rog 14 4070 is like 2600. Its kinda even hard to find the G14 2024 with 4070🤔

Good video. I like the idea of the glossy screen, though not sure if it's a good idea for a laptop. The soldered RAM is a huge no from me though. Too bad as they are both good laptops and very cheap /s

Remember, folks. The A14 had a Hawk Point CPU and got the Strix Point CPU later. The G16 had an Intel CPU and got the Strix Point CPU later. The G14 is going to get that Strix Point CPU soon. And then, it will be a no-brainer if nothing else changes.

I disagree on the G14 winning on the display. For creators color accuracy is far more important than those 120 kHz of the G14 the PX13 comes color calibrated that is a huge advantage over the G14. Yes, you tested it for Gaming only. However when creators like to game too, the PX13 is better in every aspect an wins! *Hands down!*

60fps isnt that big of a bad situation for me. If im gaming, its on a monitor via HDMI, so that can have the refresh rate covered. Also, Form factor is SOOOO good for plane travel. Touch Screen good for PDF reading, workflows and such (Im a business dude) If that rtx 4060 cooling is good enough... That PX13 is just a killer. Not suitable for 4k though. but 1440p is lower than its native resolution, and it fits up to 27" monitors!

You probably have a bad SSD or ram. Multiple restarts might eventually help but i'd recommend just getting a ne ssd if you don't have a warranty. it worked for my 2019 Asus tuf f15 still show it to a proffesional though, im just a random guy on the internet.

The 2023 Flow X13 when it closes doesn’t have a tablet feel as opposed to the PX13. Also the PX13 has a color calibrated screen for adobe RGB it’s intented towards creators towards propel that use illustrator , photoshop etc. It’s also way faster than the flow X13 in terms of CPU. Yeah it doesn’t have a 120hertz display but for gaming it can always game at 120hertz with an external display
