That bike looks awesome. Love the display. Need more dog video though - that was funny getting the frisbee and running right past you.

For the workshop : Put your selves units side by side on the back wall where you currently is unoccupied. Place items on by weight, height and frequency of use. Put labels in front of easy so you can return them after use without thought. On the free space left after the selves hang the long tools you have as the trimmer, the shovels and axe. This way you will have deckuted on wall and feel the foom bigger. For the tool panel: Your levels don't need to occupy the top and horizontally. They take more space than they need. Put them vertically, follow with the items next in size and categorize. I recommend you see a few videos to take extra ideas, there is a plethora of them. Once you figured the best layout, mark around them with a marker, and even label them. This way you won't waste time trying to remember where they used to hang. Seems a lot but in the long run all of these are time and mind savers. Plus put a large bin under the workbench for extra tideness. I will send you I video of a great and quite easy work table construction. You will need it and you can make it. Hope I helped.

Nice hinges Michael 👌🏻 such a handy machine 3D printers are, hmmm great bike too and yeah totally agree Matt Black is not the best for a mountain type bike colour. All coming along nicely Michael 👍🏻 and don’t worry am not gonna finish off by testing your Portuguese unlike others 😂😂😂, have a great week and catch next vid.

Excellent work with the 3d printed brackets, look like they will work fine. Plumbing 😖😖 never seen a non plumber yet on KZbin who likes that job when they have too do it 😊 Nice bike I probably would have loved something like that when I was mobile (and young 😂) in Nottingham where I grew up lots of hills there and I used a pushbike a lot then. My dog does that only decides to play when you decide to work 😂

Thanks, hopefully they work out! Yes, plumbing is becoming my least favourite part of the renovation...

I've used PLA for 3D printed parts before and found they don't hold shape under load in high heat/sunlight. I hope you find differently!

The filament I'm using is PETG which has natural UV resistance. I'm hoping this along with the render covering will help prevent any degradation, but it's definitely an experiment!

You're laying your extension ladder wrong up against the house. You need to flip it around (left, right) so that the individual rungs are level to the ground. The rungs are also a good way to know if the angle (distance between the ladder bottom to the house) of the ladder is correct. The rungs should always be level to the ground.

Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure I do this from now on!

I was up on the ladder yesterday. The ladder we have doesn't have angled rungs, they are 90 degrees to the side rail. From everything I can see online the fly section should be on top of the base section as I have been using it.

Hi Michael. That concrete post is leaning very precariously! Please be careful with it as it’s very dangerous.

Glad to see you took one down this week. The one with the tap fixed to it is really leaning. Please do take care.

Try viewing Carl Roger's How to make a simple vice workbench /DIY woodworking. Here on KZbin. I couldn't attach it. It is very helpful. And I don't advertise him. I don't even know him

Something doesn’t seem right with those brackets they’re stuck out too far therefore the shutters aren’t flat to the building..
@michaelboalch
@michaelboalch Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Katherine. Well spotted, they do stick out further than you would expect. Over the next few weeks I'll be adding external insulation to the walls, essentially making them thicker. Hopefully, if I have my measurements correct, the brackets will align with the insulation and the shutters should sit close to the wall and look as you'd expect. 🤞

All that messing about with shutters when you have all the equipment there to put aluminium insulated persianas or in fact buy new aluminium windows with shutters complete from Leroy Merlin for 100 euros each, plus you have no hi vis jacket, no helmet and gloves, no parachute when climbing the ladder and BA tank for working high up........................
