A checklist on how to be a “superstar”: 1: have tons of money 2: have personal trainers 3: own 20 gloves and bats If you have these 3 things, whistle will consider you a superstar

So true, you don't have to have a trainer or whatever, to make it to the MLB, it's called practice hard and right by yourself or your parents. Simple!

Luke I knew kids like this, studs. But that was in a 13u age group. Home runs mean nothing on a 200ft field with juiced bats. Once this kid moves to 60-90 field and using bbcor, those 250ft bombs will be 200ft fly outs. I’m not saying he’s bad, I’m saying it’s unrealistic. Plus, any kid could be considered a “superstar” if they are getting private training and getting the juiced usssa bats (meaning they’re rich). I’m just spitting facts, not bashing the kid. If he keeps it up he’ll still be good, but not mlb.

When I was 12, I hit 13 home runs, when I watch kids like these, I try to name one hole in their swing and how the heck do they get on this show. No hate, I do love how he is determined though, I know that high school coaches look up to that too. Also, I love how all these kids have money money money, please do someone that’s actually really good and not just someone that offers you a lot of money.

Landon Leonard especially where I live, our baseball programs are crazy, we have like 10 college/MLB coaches and 7/8 of my team played for the 10U, 11U, and even 12 U National USSSA Team which is not that hard to get into (it’s really not that hard)

There’s tons of kids like this. I played on nationally ranked teams. I believe there were several of us that would be in the MLB one day. Not a single one of us went. My best friend broke the home run record at his college but he only made it to triple A. I’ve seen amazing players go very far but still not get to the majors league. This kid is certainly a great ball player. Just know that there are tons out there like him. I’m not sure what exactly makes the difference. For some it’s injuries. We had a pitcher throwing mid 90’s in high school. He was on the way but his shoulder went and that was the end of it. It’s tough to get there believe me. Many who didn’t get there were still unbelievably good players.

Watch a Dominicans train at this age. Then USA. Wonder why the best players come from somewhere besides the US? Gotta have the newest stuff when it’s time to train.

Blackghost506 I’m telling u right now he is better than 90% of all the 11 year olds that play
@blackghost50624 жыл бұрын
Mike Thompson well first of all he’s 2 years older than them so he should be cause he’s 13 and he’s not good it shows it he said his gloves last forever exactly why u have 25 of them and he probably has like 50 bats and he has the best ones and he rich with 4 trainers and he still not that good
@mikethompson86744 жыл бұрын
Blackghost506 so since he has a lot of gloves he is bad? Where tf is the logic in that, the kid has a goal and he works hard towards it every day and if u knew anything about baseball u would see how advanced his swing, catching and throwing mechanics
@m_espo44 жыл бұрын
Ok honestly I saw this and thought it was gonna be another player that was just average. But this kid actually has a bright future ahead of him. Good luck to you.

The trainer is trying to grow his lower side because of genetics . This kid is not built for mature power . He will lose the baby fat during puberty and be tall and thin. See it all the time in younger travel ball where bigger younger kid gets away with upper body strength then gets passed up when the rest mature
@barbecuesquirrel23244 жыл бұрын
I hope he snaps the growth plate. Then how will all the training pay off.
@nartworks5574 жыл бұрын
Kenny Desormeaux Yeah but he’s 13 tho, shouldn’t he already hit puberty, I started puberty the summer before I entered middle school, which for me was 6th grade (i know for some people it’s 5th so just clarifying)

Mets Fan I’m in the same age group against him played kids way better, we use BBCOR bats and not cf zen usssa that are illegal in my league cause there literally dangerously good, and he puts in work but look at his competition, the pitches he’s hitting off of are so slow and there are better players but they don’t play big showcase tournaments. Respects to him for working hard but there’s so much talent outside of big tournaments
@metsfan73764 жыл бұрын
I’m not saying he’s great it just appalls me to see people that don’t even have near the same talent hate on him. Anyone can be successful if they work hard enough and that’s the whole point of No Days Off. Sure he’s not a prodigy but he’s a hard worker with potential
