I finally got the perches done for the young bird sections now life will be much easier for both myself & the young birds!
These perches are smaller & better for the younger birds we now have 130 perches in the loft & there is room for many more as we get to the sections such as the motivation / older bird side!

Hi mate, great update and you did well with the perches. Not an easy task !! Really appreciated this channel recently especially being in hospital recovering from the man made disease !! Yes I have been raising rice and pigeons for about 22 years and I found out that 96 98% of time you can tell by the vent bone do you ever check the vent bones

It’s not hard to tell if it’s a hen or cock, have a look on the wings and if there’s black specs on the bird then it’s a dock bird if it haven’t it’s a hen, look at Adam channel
