I have been meaning to ask for months - what does "al-a-petites" mean? Excuse my ignorance I know its a different language but I I think I have even heard some others use that word when referring to pigeons, but I could be wrong. Thanks Bro.

Rocky Ridge Kennel & Loft hahahaha! It’s “kalapatids” it’s a Filipino word. Hmm let’s see.. so “kalapati” means pigeon and “kapatid” means siblings. Two words are combined together and turned it into “kalapatids” LoL! That’s a great question Mike! Now you can leave comments to your kalapatids from now. You can also use “Lodi” which just means idol spelled backwards lol!

Rocky Ridge Kennel & Loft oh I didn’t explain it well enough. Basically “kalapatids” is a Filipino slang for “my fellow pigeon brother”. And if you want to say the word “idol”, you can say “lodi” instead. It’s the word idol, but spelled backwards! LoL! You would see those words in the comment section most of the time lol!
