THANK YOU for this awesome video. I too had a bilateral mastectomy and have been flat for almost 6 years. I wear cami tanks under everything. I have a hard time finding dresses, or dress blouses that are not busted, which makes shopping for fancy outings very frustrating

I went flat last year at 68, and have worn jeans and a t-shirt since high school. It's been difficult finding things to wear that don't make me look like I'm pregnant or have a beer belly. Thanks for demonstrating different styles!

I cannot begin to express my thanks to your for your suggestions for "going flat." I had a double mastectomy June 20th, 2024. I am getting ready to go back to school, yes, I am a teacher. I am struggling to find what I can wear to work after going from 40DDD to flat. I also have a large belly. My belly is shrinking a little bit due to effects of radiation. My number one concern is figuring out what I can wear back to school that will hide my belly and not show how flat I am now. Thank you for your honest comments about scars and puckering up of used to be boobs area.

Thanks for making this video! I just had a bilateral mastectomy with expanders. Changed my mind and had them removed last week to go flat. I mostly wore t-shirts but that doesn't work for me anymore. This video has been a big help!

Your video just popped up and it is great. Thanks for your ideas on clothing to wear after a double mastectomy. I had mine in march 2024 and decided to go flat. I thought my chest would be flat, but I don't know if I still need to wait a couple more months, but it isn't getting flatter. I have lumps under amd over the scars, and these are kind of sunk, more protuberant on the right than on the left. So I do wear tanks, but always something over because my chest looks weird. I hope with time it will look flater.

It’s a challenge! I think the body does settle somewhat after surgery. I have found wearing the breast forms helps even out the lumps and bumps, too. Sometimes I go flat, but these days, sometimes I wear the forms because my body shape keeps changing and the forms help me feel more like my old self. Happy healing to you! 🤗

Just found your channel randomly because you did a supplement review for ancestral supplements the bovine blood pills- did you see positive results from continued use? I know they’re super expensive :( but did you keep taking them. I hope you’re feeling good and are healthy! 💕

Hi there. I didn’t keep taking them. The expense was a bit much and I also sought advice from a naturopathic dr and started talking more specific supps that I think are helping. I think that brand And his products are completely amazing though. I did not notice a long term positive effect on my platelets taking them. But he also recommended the highest doses and I couldn’t keep up with that for the cost. Have you tried his products? Do you have a blood disorder?

It kind of depends I think. Mine did because I got a like more of a belly than I had before. Clothes/tops fit way differently that’s for sure. I think it depends on your body shape too. You might have to try all your clothes on again to see what works. Different styles will be flattering in a way that may not have been before. And your favorite tops may not look quite the same anymore. At least this is how it was for me. I plan on doing another video about clothes that help women who have chosen to go flat.

I had a double mastectomy Dec 18,2023. Thank you for showing us options. I haven’t been able to stand wearing the bras and prosthesis because my skin hurts from radiation. I have been wearing the 2 piece tops that basically are a tank top with a light flowing outer piece

@Uprightfossil it can take time For the skin to heal. Did for me too. Fresh Aloe Vera leaves/gel helped a lot.
