I am SO excited that your tried Versed!!. I have been using this for about 2 months and my skin looks SO good. In my local Target they have the powder Vitamin C that can be mixedf (one puff) into the Dew Point or the AM/PM Moisturizer. It has helped with my hyper-pigmentation. I know that their packaging says "We say no to animal testing" but you are right it would be nice to see them Leaping Bunny certified. It's so exciting that a US company is adhering to the EU standards. Thank you for doing a video and, as always, giving your honest, unbiased, educated opinion.

Can you do a "wear test" on these products? Such as follow up after a week or 2 of consistent use and give results? I would rather spend extra money for effective skin care then waste money on cheap knock offs that will make my skin take steps back in healing and care.

Dry wrinkled skin... Am- Tatcha rice powder wash, Dr. Dennis Gross pads, 3 days per week, Tatcha essence, Tatcha silk cream, cerave sunscreen. Pm if make up was worn that day- Tatcha oil, Cerave cream to foam cleanser or Tatcha rice powder, and retinol 3 days per week. Pm no makeup and no retinol nights. Tatcha rice powder or Cerave cream to foam wash for cleanser then moisturizer. I use Tatcha silk most nights but if I'm trying to make it last. I will use Aveeno baby eczema moisturizing cream which is also very nice.

I LOVE Versed!!! I am so, so happy to see you review them, and do a bit of a routine with them! I've tried a few products from them, and I've noticed results when used consistently! I love their On the Rise Peptide serum, and it is very hydrating, as well. It's a bit of a good all in one. I really am wanting to try their Vit C and their Retinol now. I really love their Cleansing Balm and their Quick Repair Night Cream with Aha's and Bha's. Every time I use that, I wake up with the most hydrated and glowiest skin. It reminds me of a much gentler (and simpler type of) Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Moisturizer or Kate Somerville Glow Moisturizer - and 1/3 of their price. Yet my results are the same, and I have no reactions at all which I could sometimes get with DDG's moisturizer. I really, really think you should also check out the skin care Peach and Lily brand at Ulta. They are right up your alley. No silicone, parabens and so much more and cruelty free - clean beauty. A brand founded by an esthetician, it's so great! Quite a few of my Holy Grail products come from this line. They're a mid priced line, around $40, but they're well formulated as well. They're all on the Ulta app - Peach and Lily Glass Skin Serum, Matcha Pudding Cream, Refining Mask, and their KBeauty Balm, Essence is fantastic! All of it actually is great! Thanks again for the Versed Skincare focused video!! I love this!!! ❤️ #ellesquad ❤️

I wish people would stop using the term "medical grade". It doesn't exist, it is a marketing hype, and is misleading. The ingredients in Skinceuticals or SkinMedica are not any different than the ones in CeraVe, only the concentration and formulation. Retinol is retinol, delivery, formula and concentration is what varies. I personally use SkinMedica's 1.0 retinol, but I have used several different others, including prescription strength, and have settled on this one for right now as what works best for me, not because it is supposedly a special medical grade. I have used Skinceuticals Vit C, and now use Maelove's. I hope this will help anyone struggling to make ends meet, but wants to still take care of their skin.

we can agree to disagree. The ingredients are formulated differently then durgstore. I can speak to osmosis for sure.

I use the cleansing balm and the wash it out gel cleanser...and LOVE it!! The balm is better than Elemis balm! My experience is that these are better than Elemis for those who want to save their money for other items, like an Osmosis serum... Versed also offers reusable cotton pads that you wash like lingerie in a bag in the washer!! Yay!! I don't consider these products to be 'less than' other products because they're sold at Target...this is simply democratized beauty, and thank heaven's for it! I combine Versed and Honest Beauty with The Ordinary and Josie Maran for a while now and my skin is performing better than ever/

This sounds like a great brand, I will definitely be picking up a few of the products. My concern is with the actives. I’ve been curious about this brand. Thank you for the review! Question, do you have a recommendation for a prescription retinol treatment? I’ve been using the Ordinary granactive retinoid 2% emulsion (previously called Advanced Retinoid 2%) for about 3 months 2-3 times a week at night. I haven’t seen any reduction in my wrinkles. I swear they’re getting deeper. I was wondering if I’d see better results with a prescription? I have very sensitive skin and harsh products dry me out which is why I started with the Ordinary. Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Love your channel!

Thank you so much for this review!! What would you recommend for us that live in super duper dry climates all year, winter being even more excessive dry than that even. As glycerin and HA can be counter productive to moisturizing for us. I would really like your opinion on this and when I comment on threads more people than I thought respond with the same dilemma. Sure hope you can give a quick opinion or recommendation for us in this situation. Love ya tons!! Smiles and blessings...

Lisa Vanvalkenburgh I live in a year round, very arid area in the Rocky Mountains, extremely dry in the winter, even the snow! I have been using Rooted Beauty skin care products, but am devoted to the R7 antioxidant facial oil- I pat it on right after I cleanse or shower while my face is still slightly damp, and let it soak in while I slather my body with ultra moisturizing lotion (Alba for very, very dry skin) and then apply the brightening eye cream, sunscreen and then the daily moisturizer. I personally do not use toners- no matter how gentle toners aggravate my dry, sensitive skin. My skin loves Rooted Beauty! But, I will now try Versed after this video. I have been using the Banila Zero cleansing balm at night to remove makeup and just the days hunk and in the morning the Root d Beauty Sensitive Cleanser.

I live in Colorado so I can relate. not all HA can be counter productive but I hear you, you should totally be good with glycerin because it doesn't work the same way as HA. I love oils but also you can follow what I do as I live in the same climate

@sarasommers35884 жыл бұрын
You do realize "medical grade" is nothing more than a marketing hype. Unless it is an actual prescription for something such as retinioc acid, there is no such thing as medical grade, no matter how much Skinceuticals, SkinMedica and the others would have you believe. This is coming from someone who can and does use La Mer moisturizer, so obviously I'm not judging, lol.
