Back in the day I had a FL250 with a 440 SnoJet engine in it. It would light the tires on asphalt from a dead stop every time. Sold it to a family that wanted it for their son. The dad kept saying "does it have enough power? he needs alot of power". LOL when we completed the sale I drove it up the driveway to their trailer to load it, I held a wheelie the entire distance, then spun a 360 on pavement to line up with their trailer. The wife went dead white in the face as she realized what they were buying. All that power and zero rear suspension /chuckle

I need this in my life.... My YZ250 is fun, my 450R is even more fun because i like 4 wheels and 4 stroke reliability and torque more, but this thing....... This 2 stroke monster is just undeniably sick. I would love to have this same setup except with either a streetbike engine 600cc+ or a 4 stroke atv engine 350cc+. A foot throttle, and foot rear brake pedals along with some LED lights and electric start with a small 12v battery would make this my favorite ATV ever. All my personal prefferrence aside... That Odyssey is beyond rad. Great job! Super nice fab work too. I love watching you guys build rad atv's. The barbie jeep is something i would always keep in the back of my old toyota pickup.. F U bahahaha. You must be one of these bubble wrapped kids that can’t take any criticism. I don’t give a fuck what’s in your head. I’m just stating fact. Long travel would make the handling of this oddy way better. And yes I would know as I actually have one. The stock suspension on an odyssey is way to stiff and the rear acts more like a pogo stick and bouncing the back up instead of absorbing the rough shit. There’s a reason all trophy trucks and Baja cars have long travel suspension.
@fullyford5 жыл бұрын
F U really that’s the best you could come up with trying to dis my mom. Wow. You showed me. I think I learned my lesson not to pick on you or try to educate you on something. And the stock suspension actually does suck balls “something you know all about” on the fl350 and can’t handle the rough stuff. Yes I just lowered myself to your level with that comment. It’s a very poor design by Honda. Actually using the axle as a third link in the suspension, so when you break a u-joint you also break a shock.

Little trick for anyone who didn’t know already, pull the outer part of a u joint (the part with all of the needles in it) and throw them in the freezer for a good while. The cold temps will do 2 things: shrink the bearings ever so slightly so that it’s easier to press them in, but more importantly it will thicken the grease inside so that the needles are less likely to fall out. It’s a night and day difference.

I owned the same one twice. First, the netting isn't needed, it's supposed to have wrist straps. Second, put stronger springs on the exhaust for jumping it. It tends to flex out and not come back to where it goes. Wear a back brace for landing in the sitting position. The brakes and steering don't work when you're airborne.

Pump the brakes fellas. When I was 13 I would have loved these videos. I love these videos at 41! Good clean videos that I watch with my kids. Please don't spoil the enjoyment of the videos in the comment section.

26:43 Wait! You have a bashed up 944 on ridiculous wheels? I've been into these cars for years. If it's beyond saving for road conditions, you should strip it and track it. They handle so well.

You could just rig up a couple of wrist restraints to the steering bar guys, would definitely be a good idea and much easier than making side nets. Awesome work,as usual, this thing freaking rips, really Impressive and inspiring me to get to work on my own buggy. 👌

I frickin love this. In my teens I had a home made go-cart. When I I got it it had a tied 3.5 hp Briggs. Well not for long. I put a 10 hp craftsmen on. And almost we’ll you know. Man I miss those days!
