I call the experience Frater Chassan describes as etherealisation. The food offerings to Hiram etherealise.

John King's Faculty of Abrac explains the different aspects many of these posses within the same domain. I suggest reading his interpretation to better understand how this works.

I like hearing someone talk about doing the Almadel work. I'm quite partial to the Lemegeton but am constantly disappointed by magicians who want to treat the Goetic spirits as though they were angels and I'm interested in Frater Chassan's position. Also his description of the Theurgia-Goetia's spirits is the same as that of the Pauline spirits, if even less so. The whole idea of the first part of the Ars Paulina is that the various hourly angels have the powers of their associated planetary hours-given the day-and this is again really not so far from the Almadel angels all of which have the same powers except the five of the eastern altitude. Various spirits having various powers is unique to the Ars Goetia and is presumably what increased it's popularity. Does he use the image of the Table described in the book itself, or from Clavicula Salomonis? Alexander: you find the use of a crystal more often than not in the Lemegeton. Okay now you guys seem unaware that the "table" employed in Theurgia-Goetia is the same as the main Seal of Solomon from Clavicula Solomonis (pt. II).

I found it interesting that he talked about bringing Hiram into the skull as a complex ritual. I've always heard people say the opposite with inviting spirits to inhabit a statue or other human like object. I could not help but think he was coercing and binding Hiram into the skull and to serve him. idk. Just my thoughts.

2 days ago I did a ritual from Magia Naturalis et Innaturalis to summon Aciel ,was invoking for 3 h ,even did the curses from Goetia ,and literarry nothing happened. Is magic not real or was it the problem i did this in my apartment that is atop of a building ? Or is it a faulty grimoire. Had all the requirements ,except the murder weapon knife which is used to trace the circle. This was my 1st evocation and after literary nothing happened ,not even a strange sound or presence felt ,i am starting to think this is all bullshit.

I don't align Evil spirits and Demons. Demons are masters of introspection, they are not evil but masters of your own darkness. Evil spirits are something else, they were just created as Evil itself.

I very much appreciate the info on this episode. My only qualm is when referencing the Materia Magicka, in particular the Lion Skin Belt. As a Vegan Practitioner, I using something as Real Lion Leather is abhorrent (imo). Earlier in the episode you guys mentioned how, you don't have to follow the Grimoires to the Letter, since it is a personal practice, there will be discrepancies based on the Magician themselves. I see the dedication and Craftsmanship of all your Magickal tools and Vestments as a very important aspect to All Personal Practices. But it is 2023 and Lions are an endangered species, and I personally don't use, or consume, anything from another animal. Would it be fair to say, as long as you put the same care and thought and intentions into you Materia Magicka, then the actual Materials themselves can be thought as suggestive?
@dravenamor6052
@dravenamor6052 Жыл бұрын
No. It's not meant to be suggestive. That being said, you can do whatever you want. However, all the materials are there for a reason to serve a particular function or at least be present as part of the ritual covenant itself. Let's say 'dedication to the cause'. Ritual magic is an art and a science all on its own and as such the recipes for success should be followed appropriately.

Try using a vegan material as your belt during evocation and report back on the results. I’m not being snarky…please do a ‘test’ and see if the magic ‘works properly’…because I’d like know what the findings are 🙏.
