The other is that these (in daily drive mode) pollute 5x over the legal limit - I would still love to have a car like this for 8.50 class but only use it for events like this. I am semi old, I remember when people smoked everywhere and when people drove leaded gas - You DON'T want that reality back! It's why so many elderly peoples lungs are fried and lead-affected brain deteriorization happens (one being how easy it is to con old people today).

I love what Garrett is doing with the cheap drag car shootout! It's goofy, but it brings so much more attention to sick week. We all love watching him run his normal cars, but so many more people will tune in to watch something like this. @ we are done unfortunately the drums damaged and it’s a built trans for this power level so parts aren’t just readily available.. I will say next year it will have a more common trans set up than a highly modified 8 speed for sure

@ back in the day the 3-4” single exhaust was very popular with the LS stuff. They sounded amazing Idk why the duals all the way out got so popular because in most cases the big single exit exhaust made more power and sounded way better

@ My G8 GT came with factory duals and I trust the engineers. I removed the resonators and swapped the mufflers for magnaflows. I'd never to swap it back to single if the engineers designed the motor for dual. The factory exhaust on G8 GTs is really quiet for a 6.0L. My dad one time said "I didn't even hear you coming; that is a really quiet car" when I had the factory exhaust on it. I switched it though because I want to hear my 6.0L rumble

Almost any one can drive a 9 second car these days an for driving a 7 sec car just a hundred or so 9sec passes BAM its Rally / Baja1000 / Pairs2Dakar/driving with a co pilot u have 2 trust with your life at 140+mph for an hour or hours or days this six seconds is a blip easy peazy.
