cant fully agree theyre street cars, tho legally they are, but to keep the cars competitive after driving a long ways on roads thats a serious mechanical test, i love these drag week style deals

I don't know why there aren't more new muscle cars that can easily do this type of stuff, a hellcat with a pulley will run 9.60's and crusie to the next track perfectly, so will the others will some mild work - yet there are barely any. Same goes for GT-R's, the TT Lambos, Vettes etc

You can be boring and buy a lambo, or you can build a Nova for less money that will dust the rich dude in his lambo at the 1/4 mile. If you want to see cars that were bought and not built. james nichols have plates, registration, insurance and will be driving 1000 miles on public roads in between drag racing each day. That makes them street cars. They are legal in whatever state (or country) they live in. Gary Larson has a 7 second nova that won drag week overall multiple times and he drives it to work at least once a week.
