Our friends from Sweden have done it!! They went from NEVER running in the 7’s to AVERAGING a 7 second pass at Drag Week all 5 days. THAT’S AMAZING! And they’ve done it in a completely foreign country, thousands of miles away from home.. what an accomplishment! Can’t wait to see the Ascona back, and even faster next year!

Watching the replays, the car seems to squirl so bad on launch because of that single wheelie bar on the back. It always seems to hook to the side as soon as its on that back wheel. Maybe think about investing in a twin-spaced wheel setup instead which will manage the load across the rear end more evenly when the front wheels are in the air. Aside from that, its a solid car build. Well done lads. :D

They have to toss on a couple mufflers and it's pretty much not going to get into any trouble with most police officers in the US except in cali where they are super picky about the emisions.. except on public transport and military vehicles that get to push out 100x the polution with little regulation.

Most of the fast cars in drag week are not 100% street legal. Lights, windshield wipers, DOT approved tires and some form of muffler is about all that's needed to be a participant. The whole point of drag week is to see if they can put in the 1000+ miles, while pulling a trailer full of backup parts and supplies, and still be fast AF and consistent. The quickest cars during drag week are absolutely amazing in quality and durability.
