Those R35 GTR Engines are over engineered. The engines are hand built by five trained mechanics called "Takumi Craftsmen" in a dust proof, temperature controlled room at Nissan's Yokohama plant. Names of these mechanics are badged on every engine built. Each engine takes approximately 8.3 hours and 300 components to be fully assembled. Approximately 13 engines are built every day in a single shift. The cars are built at Tochigi plant on a shared production line. End of the production process, every single GT-R is test driven by a professional driver around Nissan's test track. Because of this the engines are highly durable and proven to be able to take crazy amounts of power upgrades efficiently. Pushing the engine to 1000HP with just some bolt on parts and tune while still having the stock bottom end has become the "norm" for the GTR Tuning scene. Supercar Performance in a sport car body. The reason the car has earned the name Godzilla over the years.

Hey guys this vlog was very interesting for me as I'm Australian, born early 60s built my first turbo race engine in 1979. We raced at Ravenswood drag way, full development of this engine included, changes to the cam and exhaust side of the head on the Holden red motor hp block. Eventually adding methanol and water injection into the inlet manifold after the twin SU carburettors. We found the bottom ends couldn't take the boost, we were using a Garrett turbo and getting 20+psi suppose that it was triple the hp from stock. Didn't have an option of having a CNC make me one out of billet ,with 6 bolt mains. I hadn't realised the relevance of right hand drive cars,and America getting their hand's on and driving JDM cars as they are also right hand drive vehicles in Japan. Please excuse the long winded description, I have owned many Japanese vehicles, some would say I had a collection. Any way enjoyed the respect that you gave the subject, peace and respect 🙏🏼

That specific 400R is now my exact dream car, and I don't think any other cars even come close in my mind anymore. I've always loved the R33, and the 400R by extension, but he did that car so absurdly perfectly that I genuinely don't know a single thing that I would even consider changing.

9:47 NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THIS CAR AT ANY TRACK! Wish I still had the pictures from the wreck my sister and I got in. She was driving 75mph on the highway and we ended up flipping multiple times landing on the roof with the passenger side a-pillar was smashed in... where I was sitting. I walked away with no scratches, got my nephew out of the backseat through the tiny back window and got my sister out. I was 14? Sister was 17, nephew was 3? Nephew was my oldest sisters son not the 17 yr old ... we all walked away... no other vehicles involved. She swerved left while in the fast lane reaching back for a towel behind passenger seat cause she spilled a soda and when she did that her left hand veered the car to the left.. overreacted/overcorrected because of the inside shoulder then switched back right where there was a mini van so she switched back hard to the left which sidewalls bit and forced the end over end from side to side... the way it happened right after the switch and pivot to launch the car it rolled off the A pillar passenger side where I was sitting and launched the car into the air. We did multiple barrel rolls in the air and landed right ontop of the roof. Literally roof/passenger side was caved in like crazy. I was 5'9 and maybe 130 lbs and was completely fine. Absolute miracle we were all walking away... That toyota tercel made sure I was still here today 40 years old... Absolute UNIT of a car and to this day I have a weird obsession with them

Skippys love head butting cars and trucks. Silly buggers do it all the time. There is roads in nothern South Oz and Victoria you do not drive on at night. The reason so many cars have roo bars! Many people have written off cars hitting roos. Been very lucky. Closest I have got is skimmed one with the car trailer at night. Had two jump from the high side of the road to the low side [side if a cutting] over my restored Ford Galaxie. That scared me! After the drought broke and all of a sudden there was thousands of them in the Adelaide Hills alone
