Absolutely LUV'd this video. Love the fact they're on an unprepared track not the street where SAFETY is an issue!,, they're on a legit track. This is as close to "old school, grass roots" drag racing as we've seen in a very long time! Thank you Kyle for covering this event.

@mocarpenter8836 Yeah but the frame under it has been completely rebuilt, it no longer has any stock factory frame pieces at all. 100% tube chassis race car, same as Ryan Mitchell's Firebird! Which in my opinion should have their own class in small tire, you just don't stand a chance if you don't have the money to build one yourself! No prep, especially small tire is supposed to represent the street so I feel they should all be stock frame car's how they came out of the factory, not purpose built race car's.
@RealSteelStreetАй бұрын
@@docsmallblock6584only problem with a stock frame rule is that small tire then turns into a Fox Body class…’maybe’ Fox Body & S10 class at BEST 🙄 But, I would agree that it should be limited to back-halved cars with stock frame rails from the rear crossmember forward👌🏼

Growing up with NHRA bracket racing, it’s so nice to see dragsters on the channel. I know it’s not the normal stuff because the races you usual cover don’t really have a class for them, but it’s awesome to see them here and there.
@RyTrapp07 ай бұрын
We need dragsters in no prep! Maybe a heads up class for nitrous small blocks(cubic inch limited) vs NA big blocks(no damn mountain motors lol), cast block & heads, on 8.5s, that MIGHT keep the speeds relatively sane lol.
@joshreynolds7297 ай бұрын
Yeah the majority of people like to watch what is attainable to them. Dragsters are not that and they are fairly similar due to body and motor. Here you get diversity of size weight aero power motor sizes and types/combos. But I hear you, nothing wrong with it I love to go to the top fuel drags nothing else like it. Truly an unreal display of American power! But I think that’s why you don’t see them a whole lot.
