FLAME SPITTING Stick Shift KING | Grubworm Camaro

We ran into one of our favorite stick shift cars at World Cup Finals, Grubworm! Not only is it one of our favorites, it holds the world record for quickest stick shift car with a 6.61 at 216mph! They still ran some sixes at WCF but definitely have a couple bugs to address with their new setup. We absolutely cannot wait to see this car continue to surprise us in the world of stick shift racing!

It’s literally because of Grub Worm and racers like him, that I decided to go with a straight cut/dog engagement tr6060 for my hellcat instead of a th400. I can’t wait to get it mated and hear those shift engagements. Thanks for all the awesome content!

I also chose the TR6060 from Tick Performance because of Grubworm. I was considering going with a glide but for my first drag build I decided to stay with what I know for now as I have been building and driving drift and time attack cars since 06. Built my back-halfed 300ZX in 2018 and really have done little else since lol. Got hooked.

It’s the fact that it’s an old school style block. Just amazing what you can do with old/new technology

Now think about this, nothing in the Import vs Domestic rules since they opened it up, that I see that says he couldn't run a 468/472 cui raised deck block and a much better head much bigger turbo. The real limiting factor is the 275 tire and I think its to keep the Imports competitive because they can run more rpm and mph faster on the big end.

He will never beat grub worm without a body on Leroy. When they took it to the wind tunnel they found that the poor aero was eating over 400 horsepower on the big end. It's even more than that now because they're running higher speeds.

Yes on KZbin you can look up differences betting lt1 and sbc engine wich is small block Chevy. Lt1 is similar but has reverse flow cooling.
