Placeholder Name maybe so but it is a drag racing cash days. In my opinion the guys with newer cars and bolt on supercharger/turbo kits don’t really stand a chance at these events. You need good suspension and a trans brake to be competitive

Yeah he said 500hp all motor plus nitrous would mean it makes more than 500hp when spraying. Thats how nitrous works. He was leaving on the motor and spraying after the wheel speed got up so that it would hook. Helps suspension & gearing was dialed in for the power.

Reminds me of the good ol' days when I ran my 70' Cuda with its 340 ci. / 727 torque flight reverse manual valve body with 3k stall converter on El Centro rode on the outskirts of Sacramento. Got my first 115 mph Speed contest ticket there ... only cost me $800. I was 18 years old working at Campbell Soup so It was a little under two weeks pay. 🏁🏁

It's the joy of building a cheap car into a supercar destroyer to show the rich you don't need to be rich to own a fast car. The supercar owners reactions who get destroyed by tuners and American muscle are priceless. Supercar owners be like "What just happened?" us "umm well you got destroyed by an actual car enthusiast." :)
