John, I was there Friday 5/20/22 and picked up my TYM 574 along with a rotary cutter, tiller and grapple. You talk about some good Christian people to deal with, my salesman was Patrick couldn’t ask for a nicer guy gave me the best deals I could expect. I really enjoyed it.

I bought a new gc1725mb with the mower deck this past December. And this thing is no joke. It's a work horse that asks for more. I've knocked out so many projects already this year it's not even funny. From yard work with the backhoe, snow removal, to finally cutting the grass for the first time this year. If you are looking into one, get it! You'll be glad you did

Very informative video John. This guy knows his product line and you asked very good questions. All stuff that is very important when buying a tractor. For many people, this is their first time buying a tractor and even operating a tractor. A lot of stuff that needs to be taken into consideration.

Thanks John. I appreciate the dealer's version and your version of how well these little beasts perform. My GC 1710 has done what I need it to do. I predominately use mine for grass cutting, brush cutting, and backhoe work. All the best to you and family, my friend. See you on the next one. 👍🏽🙂

My 1720 has pulled 60 stumps, mowed 3 acres, tiled a garden, relocated hundreds of yards of dirt, plowed snow and maintained a 400 yard gravel drive, and moved a lot of 20 fort long tree trunks to piles. (So far, had it one year)

You're lucky to have a dealer like that with all that knowledge. When I bought the 1025R, they knew so little about the tractor, it amazed me more than it concerned me. So I wasn't surprised when they lost the John Deere dealership 3 years later. A good dealership is a valuable thing, and I think you have one with Iron Horse!
@LouisianaTractorworks3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Pm! You are so right!! The dealer is just as important as the tractor itself, and I'm blessed to have a really great dealer! I have ran across dealers like that and don't want to have them working on my stuff! LOL Have a good weekend! See ya!

Hey John, wassup! So did you find anything to gripe about with these new ones compared to the GC1710/1720? I heard complaints about the location of hi/lo lever, that it now hits the right leg. Also, something about the tilt steering putting the steering wheel at an uncomfortable angle. Just anecdotal stuff I've been hearing, but the biggest thing I'd worry about is the backhoe level housing cracking coz of bad castings, there's been quite a few reports about that. Haha, sorry I don't mean to be a downer!
@LouisianaTractorworks3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Pond Acres! You bring up a good point. The backhoe lever Massey made an updated piece to replace the one that is breaking on everybody. So if someone does get a GC with the bad ones. They can get ahold of their dealer and get it replaced for free. You"re not being a downer. You're just being realistic. There is no perfect tractor so the more a possible buyer knows the better he can choose what will work for him. Have a good week! See ya in the next one!
@pondacres3 жыл бұрын
That's really good to know about them finally being on top of that! It took a minute, though. I was reading people where getting a hard time from dealerships on getting that fixed coz they were putting that on operator error. Then, the excuse was that the joysticks are now longer, so there's more leverage now placed on the linkage, hence why the housing is cracking. Uhhh, well, that's your problem, Massey Ferguson...sounds like a design flaw to me. Well, in any case, glad they're finally addressing it without more excuse-making. Great tractor otherwise, my gc1710 is bulletproof, love the ole gal!
@LouisianaTractorworks3 жыл бұрын
@@pondacres It was a metal failure. The casting metal was poor quality. Some Massey dealers came up with a lot of reasons for what was happening to them, tell there was so many breaking that Massey knew something was wrong with the plate.
