I just discovered the channel a few days ago. I've been catching up with your older videos, and I'm happy to see you're making new videos. Working with reclaimed materials is great. Not only does it save money, but I find it takes off pressure while I am learning and making mistakes.

Hello Keith. Yes, I totally agree with you; using reclaimed materials makes it easier to experiment and try different ideas out. As you can see, my current videos are looking at using corrugated cardboard. Check this playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLGCBwUeR2BD0SvqEJhwwjOR53E8DV6FVD because I have been using it for a while with much more to come! I have also used a lot of reclaimed particle board (from inexpensive, assemble yourself furniture). Thanks for your comment and for watching.

That packaging is what we used to call pasteboard.

Thanks for your comment. I am not familiar with the word "pasteboard". Do you know what the difference is between pasteboard and corrugated cardboard and chip board? Which material is the stiffest? From my experiments, corrugated cardboard stacked in layers is very stiff but remains lightweight. Chipboard does not have any corrugations so it is not as stiff but seems to make a good covering for the stacked layers of corrugated cardboard. Thanks for watching my video.
