l read that the other 3 social classes are not allowed to accept charity from Brahmanas. I need to understand how, when only Brahmanas may accept charity, is it a closed sector then, (where a brahmana gives to, and receives from only other Brahmanas.) interesting!

. Although the kṣatriyas are almost as qualified as the brāhmaṇas, even they cannot accept charity. This is strictly prohibited in this verse by the word apratigraha. What to speak of the lower social orders, even the kṣatriyas must not accept charity. 7.11.14 purport
