After almost a year since we dismantled the Dynamo, we are now ready to reassemble it again.
Sadly things don't always go according to plan, so whilst you will see 90% of the re-assembly process, sadly this is another FAIL.
I suggest you visit www.anglo-agriparts.com and order a replacement Dynamo when yours needs replacing. That's what I'm going to do now...

I`ve just done a UTube vid doing a C40. My field coils were ok thank God. I do have some of the same wrapping with the red line. I need to get some vanish to coat them in future. I`m from the UK and the brushes are £3.50 here on EBay. Quite cheap.

Just watched the rest of the video. I think it`s the paint. Would be 3 layers of paint. I would buff it off and then try again and grind off any hig spots. If you ever strip a Lucas wiper motor DR3 poles off it`s a nightmare to get the motor to spin. You haven`t failed.

Would it be the new paint on the inner shoes stopping it going in by any chance? Just a thought.

Hi Nick, I did wonder about this - but the clearance needed is quite a lot, so I don't think it's this alone - sadly. 🙁
