I don't think you could ever bore me stupid with your videos. They're always so much fun. You silly goose, I love the noises when unmoulding too, lol. These are really cool and can't wait to see what you come up with for the tiles.

To me the best part about making something is the imperfections. No one thing is the exact copy of the other. So every time you say, "oh no" all I see is beautiful pieces of art.

Lovely, so pretty ☺ I also love the coasters with small stones, they were amazing, and the video update on your new studio, but the videos have now vanished and I couldn't leave feedback ☺ 👍

I love your mosaic times. You could tile the top of a bedside table. The coaster holder is so prefer. It would make a nice soap dish as well. I so enjoy your channel.

Beautiful, bubbly or not! Yes, we can chuck it all in or chuck it out here (US). Thanks for showing, & congrats on the new studio starting!! Happy Creating!!!!

Beautiful work. Love the colors. The part of the states I am from we say “throw” or “scatter” them in. Interesting tidbits about various parts of the world’s vernacular I guess. 🙂

The ones you did are much prettier than your photo. So you surpassed the one that was your inspiration!! True professional artist!! 🌹 also we here in the Appalachian area of the USA do indeed say “just chuck it in there”

I like terrazzo. Think the color combination is great. Very happy for your business and studio! 🤗 Nice job. I guess the bubbles don't bother me so much. Each person has their preferences.

You. Hold always do two coats of resin if you want to place the pieces in the bottom and don’t want them to move then wait for that to cure before adding the rest of the resin. For anyone watching that may want them in specific spots. Love how these turned out Julie

The milky white makes the resin much richer. I’ve tried to add brown to get an off-white but it’s so hard not to add to much.

Lovely! I have no clue if this would be helpful but maybe brush a thin layer of clear resin over the mold, torch it, add the colorful bits and then start adding white resin. I think the pieces you made are outstanding. Tiny bubbles would not bother me. Unless you invest in or build your pressure pot (that definitely doesn't appeal to me), bubbles will always be possible. IMHO the bubbles can be an indicator of non-mass produced items, just as an occasional brush stroke in the furniture I flip indicates hand-painted items. Your artistic creations are always lovely. Thank you for sharing your journey. And congratulations on the start of the new studio! I watched the video that included grading the soil, digging trenches for footings, plumbing pipes and concrete filling the footings. It's so exciting!

@christines24512 жыл бұрын
I think it might be messier but if you mix your pieces in some of the white resin and place some resin in the mold there shouldn’t be any bubbles. I was taught that when placing other pieces within resin the pieces needs to be coated in resin as well to avoid bubbles. Give it a try?..

Were the bubbles in the coaster holder from not spraying with the alcohol spray first like you did with the coaster cos it looked like you only got a couple of tiny bubbles in the coaster whereas in the holder with no spray you got a bit more and they were more obvious? Like you said once the coasters are sitting in the holder you wouldn't notice the bubbles anyway it's just cos you made it you can see it and we're our own worst critic aren't we
