Holy WOW!!! This part of the build was so satisfying. After weeks of @DriftHQ making so much progress on the build, it's time to make her a roller again! I might have gotten a little carried away with out @PrismaticPowders powder coating set up .... but WOW was it absolutely worth it!

Nice work Collete. In the past I have powdered car chassis and body panels they never rusted again. The chassis we shot blasted first then air lined & washed in places with cellulose thinners. They always came out shiny black we did do some funky colours on motorbikes and pushbikes. I have powdered many brake callipers and disc centres so long as you tape sensitive areas and strip the rubbers out jobs a good one.

As a powder coater I really hope she sanded down the spacers to bare better on the surfaces that touch the wheel and the hub other wise there will be a terrible amount of vibration

As a Mechanic and a DIYer I also noticed this as well. Not a very good idea to add paint to a service of that HUB. I have seen wheels fall off even when properly torque, this add a space between which we cannot see and come loose.

Looks awesome. At first I thought it might be too much neon and things wouldn't stand out. You did a great job of high lighting and accenting though. I know it doesn't fit the color scheme, and you probably already know this, dove grey or some type of grey would show things like leaks, cracks, dents etc. better than black.

Rear camber arms looked to be on the wrong side of the car. The bend in them should go downwards for chassis clearance. Swap arms left to right so they aren’t bending upwards 👍

You should ceramic coat those painted parts while they're clean and fresh. I just used turtle wax seal and shine on my fresh parts so it's easier to clean next time I pull my wheels off.

5his S15 is so sick, I can't wait to see her finished. Are there there any plans for the S15 to be a comp car or is it strictly a street ripper? Also are you putting a fire suppression system in her? And what's the S15's name and I have to point out that you have already almost broke even with the powder coating equipment if you added all the things you've power coated. I couldn't imagine how much it would cost to have everything powder coated at another place.

Oh, it's just the worst. Bought a van this winter, and turns out the previous owner has spilled a bunch of used oil. I can really smell it now that it's warm outside! I've been pressure washing the full interior with engine degreaser, and brake clean, and I just cant' get rid of it! 😭

I love the way this is turning out! Random question, do you have any issues with the Sassy Pink fading? I think a lot of the Neon style colors can have issues with UV over time. We used Corkey Pink on a lot of my wife's Jeep parts and while it looked amazing at first it ended up all fading into an orange color over time. We are looking at doing an overhaul later this year so definitely would appreciate any recommendations regarding other pink powders! Keep up the awesome work!
