I luckily got a bottle from my local store, but I don’t have the DO to compare. My bottle #683 and it is delicious, so good. It is all I am looking for in a bourbon and things I haven’t tasted before. Finish is so long , that you don’t even want to wash is off with water for a while and when you do, you still get more flavor, yea, thick. Yes the cork is tight and that’s a good thing I guess.

Crazy the prices. I’m Georgia locale and bought it for 199 and walked into a store to ask if they had it. This store is known to mark up. My main store is keeping 3 cases for their loyalty day, but it’ll be retail.

Live in GA and have the 15th for a week now. I feel it has more balance and depth than B2 DO. The DO is amazing but got to get the nod to the 15th.

These do come here where I am, but if you aren't there when the truck arrives you aren't getting it. Though hopefully the stores will change how they handle it because someone told me they had people tearing the Double Oaked out of the box before they could scan it in.

Try to get a sample somewhere. Batches 1 and 2 are better than even the 2022 GTS. Got a sample of what was supposedly batch 3 and it’s terrible. I’m hoping I was duped with it not actually being batch 3

I did a tasting side by side and couldn't tell the difference. Both just taste like air. Like my glass was empty even though I'm a glass full kind of guy. 😀 I wonder if I could actually find them if it would impact my results?
